2004 Volkswagen Phaeton with Approximately 93k miles. In very good condition with no accidents. This vehicle is loaded with all factory options. It has been dealer serviced since new and runs and drives excellent with no mechanical issues. This vehicle has all original books keys and both sets (winter/summer)of floor mats. I purchased this vehicle certified in summer of 2010 from Fort Myers FA. It has since been serviced locally at Thompson Volkswagen PA. Tires, brakes and maintenance items are all up to date. If you are here, then you probably know more about this car than I do! I CAN tell you that based on the Bentley Continental platform, it is my favorite car to drive on a daily basis, and even more so on a roadtrip. This particular example has spent all of it's life with one owner in New York City, hence the extremely low mileage. As you will notice in the many detailed photos below, this car is just Beautiful!! It does have some chips on the front bumper, and some rash on the wheels. It has not been detailed or serviced! It is EXACTY as traded, and is being sold as is, without any warranty. It has a clean accident free Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title IT HAS A TRANSMISSION ISSUE!!!! It is completely driveable, as I have done so for 200+ miles. Basically it has a very weak reverse and a kinda weak low gear. Reverse is OK on the level. This car WILL NOT back up a hill!!! It drives fine in forward, with low gear being a bit touchy at times. The Check engine light is on due to the slippage in the transmission. My local dealer says it needs a transmission. They want 20 hours to install a used one, of which I located for $800.00. I did not get a price for a factory unit. You be the judge. Maybe you know someone who knows something I don't! Maybe you can fix it for less?? Maybe just drive it as is?? This car is a dream to drive! It has almost new tires on it, and it just floats down the highway. Remember, It only has 36,000 miles on it!! That is UNHEARD of in the Phaeton world! Mos have way over 100K by now! Everything works as far as power equipment and accessories. We have 3 keys, along with owners books and Navigation discs. I have for sale a beautiful 2004 VW Phaeton 4.2L V8 AWD. This is one of only 1433 imported to the US in 2004. This car is a 9 to 9.5 - out of 10. I have listed the minor flaws above. The engine runs 100% & has a fresh oil change. The transmission shifts flawlessly. This car has always been garaged kept, and it shows. The paint on this vehicle is beautiful! Car is equipped with self leveling xenon lights. Tires are all around 60% tread. The interior is beautiful as well! 18 way power seat and both front seats have massage feature. The rear has plenty of room with heated / cooled seats like the front. This is a amazing car for the price and only has 78k miles. It is in excellent mechanical condition and has a brand new CD player installed as well. It has a clean CarFax. Below is a description of the W12 Phaeton from “The Fast Lane.” ‘The Phaeton accomplishes a rare balance between immense performance and swaddling luxury. The 6.0-liter W12 engine produced 420 horsepower to go along with 406 lb.-ft. of torque, numbers that rocketed this 5000 lb. beast to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds. The Phaeton put this power to the ground through VW’s 4Motion AWD system, a variation of Audi’s legendary Quattro system. Unbelievably, all of this performance arrived in a wheelbase that was the longest of any VW Group. The Phaeton’s luxury features, however, extended far past simply legroom.
