1974 Karmann Ghia Convertible, original rust free car that has been beautifully restored: *Hartz tan canvas top, new headliner.*New tan interior, new door panels, new tan carpets with brown piping; new seat foam on both seats; new seat covers.*New wide white wall tires, new hubcaps and beauty rings, wheels were media blasted and painted silver base coat with 3 coats of clear coat.*Engine removed and new clutch, clutch plate, throw out bearing and flywheel seal; flywheel was resurfaced. New shift bushing. Transmission shifts perfectly in all 4 forward gears and into reverse. Excellent.*Engine was cleaned and degreased, tuned and reinstalled with new muffler and new chrome exhaust tips, engine tin was painted. All hoses were inspected and replaced as necessary. Engine runs perfectly, starts beautifully after it has been sitting for some time, runs cool.*Stunning red paint base coat clear coat, rust free southern car. Body is near perfect showing no accidents, no rust, no bubbles, no blisters. Floors are original and are excellent with no holes, no rust. Paint was recently wet sanded with 3000 grit, polished with 3 levels of compound and then wiped down with 3M Final Inspection. It shines brilliantly.*All lights work: high and low beam, parking lights, turn signals, brake lights; AM radio works; little white map light works on rearview mirror; gas guage works, speedometer/odometer work. Not certain of exact mileage on vehicle. Clock is not hooked up since car sits with battery connected. Windshield wipers work. This Karmann Ghia runs and drives beautifully, steering is tight, brakes are excellent, car steers straight, does not pull, shifts perfectly, and is just really, really fun to drive!
