It's not included in the recent VW recall IT'S PRE VW RECALL!! The car starts and with no issues, all gears shift with a firm clutch. I drove the car approx 70 miles around town with no issues. The fly wheel is good and the carfax shows it to be serviced in a VW dealership most of the time. cosmetically the car is good shape for it's age. There are some minor dings and scratches as shown in the pictures. The interior is odor free with no cigarette or foul smell. The headliner is loose and needs to be replaced. The buttons are peeled in different areas. As i mentioned the car starts and drives, based on the miles , it might need future work done to it , there is a minor shake once the car idles and some front suspension noise. It’s a RUST FREE car and equipped with the 5 speed manual transmission, heated leather seats, sun roof, alloy wheels and power windows and locks. The A/C blows cold and all the locks and windows work. The car starts fine with no problems, picks up good and is full of power. The clutch is firm and the gears shift accordingly, Cruise control engages well and all the shocks and struts are good. We recently have installed a new Timing belt and Water pump on the car. This car has a clean CARFAX and I have included snap shots of the Carfax report in the pictures below towards the end. Cosmetically the car is in good shape for its age. There are some dents and scratches as pointed out in the pictures but nothing major. Some small dents on top and trunk and scratches around the car.
