2004 Volkswagen Golf TDI in very great shape. Well cared for and properly maintained. Drives like new. Just had a bunch of service done (see below) so you don't have to do anything for a long time. Mileage will be approximately at 67,800 miles at your purchase. This car is a great commuter and will last for many years in the future. This car rocks and is ready to go! ************************UPDATE*******************************Since the last time this was posted, the serpentine belt, front brake caliper, and front brakes have all been replaced. There is nothing else this car needs for a long while. Things I have recently had done (over the past month--over $700):Brand new battery installed by Volkswagen Dealership (Highest Quality!)Brand new Rain-X Windshield Wipers (all three)Tires rotated/checked (tires are rated at "like new").Oil changed within the last week (5w-40). Good for 5k miles.New ceramic brake pads (front)New brake caliper (front)New serpentine belt installed Pros:Nothing has to be done mechanically. It's good to go for a long while.Incredible gas mileage (I have gotten around 50mpg on highway. Usually quite a bit over 30 in town--depends on how you drive).Comfortable ride with great handlingEverything works like a charm! (Heater, A/C, Electronics, CD player, speakers,keyless entry,etc.)Every mechanic/dealer raves about how good of condition it is in.Only 67k miles! Will last a long, long time.Very dependable and reliable.Pre-Scandal VWNo smells (no smoke, perfume, weird scents).Everything mechanically is in amazing shape.4 rubber floormats (removable and washable).I have cleaned the living heck out of this car, so it will be in the cleanest condition (especially interior) that I am capable of.Keyless entry/locks/alarm/trunk. Horn beeps once when car is locked.Tires are 9/10.Turbo adds quite a bit of pep to acceleration.Clean title/odometerCruise control works very well.Two sets of keys (both the same -- keyless entry, panic, trunk etc)Timing belt was just checked and reported in excellent condition. Flaws:There are some minor scratches on the paint. Normal for this year of car. Please refer to the pictures for the worst offender (right-front hood). I honestly don't even notice them, but if you are looking for them, you can find them. The rear window has some light scratching on it. They are not viewable when driving. Again, hard to notice, but in full-disclosure it's better to list them. The drivers-side rear seat does not fold down. However, the passenger's-side rear seat (which is bigger and includes the middle seat) folds down fine. The hood is a little tricky to close. Instead of slamming it down hard like a normal car, you must lower it to about a foot above and then close it. It is fully functional, but a bit tricky at first to get the hang of.I am the third owner, but the second owner was just a dealer that had it for about 18 days. A CARFAX & Vinenquire have been done and are available by request. Please ask any questions you may have, and I will get back to them immediately. Wow nice unit, now is the time to buy while all this negativity is floating around about tdi's emission.This is the flag ship year everyone wants the 2003 alh motor tdi car. And is not effected by the current diesel gate. My average driving it has been, 42 mpg everyday driving some city and highway mixed driving, people that buys tdi's are usually life time owners of tdi or mercedes diesel's. I drive it daily and miles will grow some.Automatic car, but if you wanted it converted to a 5 speed I can do that too.This is a great entry unit and priced as such for a college student ,contractor or just really stand up reliable transportation.Just got title on car and called previous owner when I received it, there was a wiring harassness issue with transmission so we repaired and it it runs like a dream!! After calling previous owner they said new motor 40,000 miles ago they paid for a total rebuild. They had just had the timing belt done 4000 MILES AGO!! THATS A 750.00 SERVICE! Which is due every 100,000 miles. and upon inspection it looks great!! like new.I told them I fixed a wire and the car runs great they was highly disappointed, LOL! The paint is Great!! tires are really great too.. Interior is leather but needs, seats in the front. Just did service fuel filter and oil change , just so its ready for next owner.Higher miles 307,000 so what lol, Ive owned several with over 450,000 miles on them. TITLE is clean.

For sale is 2002 diesel VW Golf. Car is in a good mechanical shape, was maintained with no expenses spared. New tires, including matching spare tire. Car has never been in any accident. Car has normal wear and tear, consistent with the age. Car has VW quality, there is no rust. Clean title, I am the second owner. Car has legendary 1.9 TDi diesel engine. The best time to buy diesel cars is now, because diesel is so cheap. I am averaging 45MPG, however if driving sparingly I was able to get 50Mpg. Car is located in NJ, Flemington. Local pickup only. I would prefer that prospective buyer comes and inspects vehicle in person. Please check my rating: I want new owner to be happy with the purchase.

Have owned this 2004 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF, GL model since 2007. Exterior color is blue. Interior is tan with black trim. Vehicle is in good condition and runs well. Handles well and does well in the snow. As highlighted below, I have recently invested a fair amount or time and money into the vehicle. I would like to sell this to fund another truck. car is very clean inside. no rust. all power. everything works as it should. cold ac. sunroof. power everything. all 4 tires are great shape. good even tread. no feathered edge. no cupping. Brakes are close to new.
