I searched for a long time to find this GTI Autobahn to purchase and now I'm reluctantly selling due to growing family. I'm not aware of any problems with the car, I wouldn't hesitate to drive across the country. I'm only selling as we have 3 young children, and while the car seats 3 in the rear, 3 in car seats not so well. I'm an adult OCD owner, so you'll see that reflected in this car. I purchased used a couple of years ago here at the Dallas Sewell dealership where they had conducted their own trade in inspection (145 point inspection). Car is rather rare in that it is black on black, 4 door hatch GTI with what I believe is every option available included: black leather seats with red stitching trim, touch screen with navigation, IPOD integration, DYNAudio premium audio, 18" Alloy Wheels, Bluetooth connectivity, HID headlamps, heated seats, power sunroof, Xenon headlamps with adaptive front light system, fog lights, power windows, leather wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, alloy pedals, brushed aluminum appearance interior trim, tinted windows. 6 speed shifts smoothly, quick and great on gas. The car is not modified in any way. Only things that I have done is add aluminum GTI trim to door sills and seat levers along with rubber GTI mats. I had 1.25 inch hitch installed as well to hold bike rack, but it made me nervous to carry my bikes on back so never used. I'm not foolish enough to tow anything with it, I have truck for that. All servicing done on time, early actually because that's what I do. I had brakes and belt replaced within last 6 months; not because of any issues, just staying ahead of things. I had REI install Yakima Whisper bars for carrying bike, but those are not included in the price. Let me know if you're interested in those staying on the car and I have Yakima bike carriers that go with bars that I'll sell separately. Garage kept at home, I work from home so I've put very few miles on it since purchasing. No leaks or drips, no noises or rattles, no stains or tears on any dash or seat. It looks brand new as I hand wash and wax my cars and clean and condition interior myself. I can get it washed free for life at Sewell dealership but don't as I don't run my cars through automated car washes. Has normal expected road chips on front, but no big scratches or dents. I'm the guy who annoys his family by parking in the furthest spot in the lot to avoid door dings. 2 tires are new, 2 others I will replace with the same model (Michelin Pilot Sport) for you at Discount Tire , or I'll give you credit for you to replace on your own. I wipe down engine compartment when I wash the car, so engine bay looks great. I didn't want to drill holes in front bumper for license, so I fashioned toggle bolts that are slotted in honeycomb grill that can be easily removed if you want. Car is glossy and smooth on outside, looks new on the inside and drives with zero issues. I can pick you up at DFW airport if you are from out of town. You can have car inspected at your cost. I have both remotes and manuals. All controls work perfectly, including all wheel controls, zero problems with info center display on dash or the touchscreen on center console. I really can't think of a single problem with the car. I'm not a dealer, so I don't finance. Any questions, please let me know.
