Number 2245 out of 4200. The car has 220K miles most of them have been on the highway. I have an entire book full of receipts and paperwork for all the maintenance, work and care that have been put to this car. I don't really want to sell it but with Christmas around the corner I can use the money. The car runs and drives like it should. No mechanical issues whatsoever. Here's a list of mods the car has: Forge diverter valve - Turbo back exhaust - Upgraded intake (K&N) - All around brakes and disc/rotors with less than 3K miles - Stage 1 clutch less than 3K miles - APR tuned 3" Billy Boat's turbo-back exhaust (https://youtu.be/6lOjgi6opdg) my GTI sound almost exactly as the one in the video - Aristo Wheels 18" from tires have less than 5K back ones have a little more than that - Upgraded stereo from VW with bluetooth, usb and aux ports color matching to the interior see pictures and speakers with wiring for sub I'm taking out existing sub and amp but can sell it separate for the right price - LED lights on the interior - Boost gauge on top of the steering wheel see pictures for reference - Right now the car has all-weather Husky liners that cover the entire floor but I also to extra sets of floor mats the original one with red sticking and regular ones - Paint has starches for driving on the highway and stuff nothing major - Timing belt/water pump/thermostat done at 150K - No rips on the Recaro seats - Interior 8/10 there's regular wear and tear from a 2003 car - Inspection in NJ until November 2017 - Sunroof works like it should - I'm probably forgetting things but feel free to ask me any questions you might have or if want more pictures. Hello i am selling my 2003 VW GTi 20th Anniversary. This car has been great to me and i love this car, but now i have to sell it. This car is in very good condition and it drives very smooth and relaxing. Everything works. There are a lot of things i have done to this car. I put a different rims on my car. Front rims are 18x8 and rear ones are 18x9. The car looks amazing.

2003 Volkswagen GTI 20th Anniversary Edition #1706 1 of only 1,000 in Black Magic Pearl color. 1 of only 4,000 20th Anniversary GTIs. After retiring from the Army early 2006 I bought this car as a retirement project. It was a low mileage rebuildable salvage vehicle that the original owner had hit the left front end hard enough to pop the two font airbags, bend the hood, left fender, front bumper, and cracked the bumper cover, radiator and radiator support. It was a fun project where I put the vehicle completely back to stock using all OEM replacements parts and had the repaired areas painted by a local shop. It was then Retitled with a Texas blue title with rebuilt comments and it turned out to a very fun, quick little car that was/is a joy to drive. 1.8 Turbo motor 6sp Manual Transmission Now in 2015 it is still a fun car and only has 62k miles and it runs and drives like it should. During the intervening years; -The car was bumped at a 4 way stop hard enough that it broke the left taillight, cracked the rear bumper cover, and damaged the rear hatch. I picked up some used OEM parts and had that same Body shop fix it up. -at 45K miles the timing belt broke and as an interference type engine it bent several valves. I had the head rebuild and replaced by an independent Volkswagen Guru. I was well pleased with his work and he replaced all the parts that should be replaced during a timing belt change ie water pump, idler rollers, tensioner etc. - The Texas sun has had its way with the paint faded through and clear coat has released in several spots particularly on the roof and hood, some of the cloth on the pillar covers and door panels are loosening up (so typically MK4 Volkswagen) and the 18" Aristos where changed out for VW GLI 18" BBS wheels. The reason for the sale is I got into Volkswagen diesels (I put together a 2003 VW GTDI (PD130 & 6sp) that replicates the 2003 20th AE. . .. Just as fun but 40+ mpg) and I had gone back to work (too many cars & not enough time). Clear title with rebuilt comments, in my name, ready to transfer.
