My wife decided it was time to purchase a new car, so we took the plunge late last year. Although her old car has been absolutely wonderful, and I have toyed with keeping it, we really do not need it. It's only being driven every other week to keep it running well, and it sits under a vehicle cover on our back parking pad. It's time to part with her and let her find her second owner. We purchased this CC VR6 in late 2009. She is almost fully loaded with the larger and faster VR6 engine (most CCs come with the 4 cylinder turbo). The only options that we didn't get were the back up camera, all wheel drive, and bluetooth. Here's what she has on board:Power steering and brakesAir conditioning (works wonderfully)CD playerDual climate control / Auto climate control (just select a temp on the dial and press the AUTO button)Leather seatsPower front seats (with 3 memory settings for driver)Heated front seatsHill hold assist (press a button and after stopping the car, you can take your foot off the brake, and the car will not creep forward or backward until you press the accelerator)Automatic transmission with paddle shift (you can manually shift using paddles on the steering wheel)Cruise controlSteering wheel control for cruise control, radio, and information centerPower windows and locksAlloy wheels (note that these are the original rims and do have curb rash)Trunk liner with four moveable velcro "corners" that allow you to secure itemsFull size spare - never usedHeavy duty VW floor mats (still in great condition)Tilt up sunroof with sunshade (sunroof on CC does NOT open...only tilts up)Rear window sunscreen - power operated from the front consoleRear seat pass through to the trunkAdaptive headlights: the lights turn with the car and raise or lower if you are going uphill or downhill (it's pretty neat, and you can see how the system works when you start the car as the lights do a little "ballet" to test features)Auto on/off headlightsWe've truly enjoyed this car. It is amazingly engineered. The windows are so tight, that when you unlock the car, the VW drops each window a quarter inch to make it easier to open. If the car is already unlocked, when you pull any door handle out a hair, that window drops a quarter inch to make the door easier to open. The key slides into a "slot," and then you push it further to start the car or shut it off. BOTH original keys come with the car. There is a plastic key inside of each key fob that will unlcock the car in the event of a battery failure (lock is under a cap on the driver's door). I have personally performed oil changes on this car for the past few years using only 0W40 synthetic oil. Oil and filter are changed approximately every 10,000 miles, and I have records of dates and mileage. Recent maintenance items:Rear brake pads replaced in June 2016Four new Continental tires installed and car aligned in March 2016Oil and filter changed in November 2016 (next oil change due at 98,000 miles)High intensity discharge xenon headlamps replaced in 2016 (these can run several hundred dollars. This is the first time they have been replaced. Should be good for awhile)This car IS part of the Takata airbag recall, but VW has not yet received parts. I have all of the paperwork we have received about the recall, and that paperwork will go to the new owner. Will you be our baby's next owner? She loves to stretch her legs on the freeway and is super fast. I think she has 280 horsepower (but I am not 100% certain).
