1972 Volkswagen/VW Westfalia camper patina bus. Rebuilt engine was disassembled and soda blasted. New gaskets, rebuilt heads. We used German parts for the rebuild. New heater boxes, new muffler and gaskets. Tins powder coated. New pushrod tubes and seals. New Bosch plugs, plug wires and points. New front and rear wheel cylinders. New front brake pads and rear brake shoes. New throttle cable. Correct VW battery cables, new battery tray and battery. Gas lines new plus filter. Gas tank coated inside. New clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. New oil filter and fuel filters. New CV boots, front end packed with grease. Transmission shifts smoothly. Interior very clean, one worn place on front passenger seat. New curtains, new replacement top canvas and rubber seal for top. Interior has rare full bed up top and cabinet behind driver's seat. Glass is good with no cracks. Main key starts and opens all doors. Solid drip rails. Also includes child's cot and inside table. Original tool kit, jack, and emergency kit. New German driveaway Herzog tent with poles. Original color Chianti Red, mileage 134,493. Never wrecked, doglegs good, small amount of rust on driver's and passenger floor. Overall a solid bus. 1971 and 1972 VW Westfalia camper buses and extra parts package. The 1971 bus (tan/cream) is a donor for the 1972 model (red). I have records on both buses. The 1972 needed a gas heater and heater parts, radio, dash clock and refrigerator, sink and cabinet. Used the refrigerator, sink and cabinet. The 1971 has new parts installed by past owner and I have the receipts for the parts. The bus has rust but the right person could make it a good, solid bus. The engine was soda blasted and ready for assembly. Tins were glass-beaded, etc. Have passenger seat and child's cot as well. The 1972 patina bus was a farm find two years ago. The engine was disassembled and soda blasted. The tins were glass beaded and powder coated. Engine rebuilt with German NOS parts, including new heater boxes, muffler and gaskets. Tins were powder coated. New pushrod tubes and rebuilt VW heads. New gaskets on whole engine. New Bosch plugs, wires, points, etc. Also includes child's cot and inside table. New battery tray, battery, battery hold down, and correct VW battery cables. German fuel lines and filters are new. Gas tank inside coated. New CV boots. New front and rear wheel cylinders. New front brake pads and new rear brake shoes. Front end packed with grease. New throttle cable. Used VW clamps on all hoses. New curtains, new tan canvas for top plus new rubber seal gasket. Have correct jumper seat behind driver's seat. Complete jack assembly and emergency kit. Interior has worn place on passenger sear. Interior overall in good to excellent condition. Wood is like new.
