This is a truely loaded and extremely well maintained Touareg. It's what was later called the Lux model, and has the rare Extreme Offroad Package with full height adjustable air suspension (see pictures of different settings), front, center and rear locking differentials, 3 way adjustable ride mode for stiffness, nav, sunroof, fully adjustable power seats with memory, power adjustable steering column, heated leather, 18" premium wheels, Xenon headlights, etc etc etc. This is the 310HP V8 with All Wheel Drive and it handles like a race car. Literally every option for the year except the towing package (which is what you want because the transmission has had no abuse from pulling a lot of weight). A tow hitch for these is only $250 if you want to add it. The truck only has 116K miles dealer maintained here in Jacksonville. Carfax shows perfect history and almost all maintenance records. Has 4 brand new Bridgestone Dualer tires. Also has new battery in the last year and I just had the driveshaft rebuilt with new center carrier bearing (all Touareg's need this update). Truck is in overall very good condition inside and out. Does have some typical interior wear found on all early Touaregs but much cleaner than average. Needs to be done: Glove box and arm rest latches broken (both availabe here on eBay). I bought a used complete glovebox (but it was not the correct color) and will throw it in to use for repair parts. I replaced the 3 pieces of wood across the dash with new ones from the dealer but the door pieces have the typical micro cracks. Doesn't bother me but very easy to remedy. Mechanically everything is perfect except the tire pressure sensor batteries went dead so I had the dealer turn them off. Again, easy fix. I owned a VW/Audi repair shop for 10 years so I can be a wealth of knowledge for you and a source of parts at wholesale cost! I'm a VW fanatic and love the brand.
