The car has approximately 83,xxx miles and needs nothing. I had it inspected, serviced, and aligned in late September at Sterling Motorwerks in preparation for sale. It has some very tasteful, mild modifications that improve the cars performance and appearance but nothing has been extensively modified. The car is very tight without having any creaks or squeaks coming from the interior or chassis. This car has never seen road salt. The underside is pristine - not a spec of rust or corrosion anywhere. While technically mine (I have the title free and clear), this was my brother-in-law's car which he purchased from a VW tech in Seattle, Washington. He recently moved from Seattle to NYC and only had room for one vehicle so this GTI was parked at my parents house in southern Vermont. Recently we made an arrangement for me to sell it for him on his behalf, and to make the process easier I purchased it from him and had it registered and inspected in VT.
