Up for sale, 1980 vw van.. first year of new style. I started work on this 6 months ago or so, I had $1600.00 worth of brake work done front and rear, put on newer tires, found all the hub caps, replaced plugs and wires. The rear seats have been detailed, new carpet put in from behind the front seats back. It has a brand new battery, all the glass is good except for windshield, no other known issues except for e-brake. 2009 Jetta 2.0 TDI turbo diesel auto. Comfortline trim. Heated black leather seats. Upgraded sound system. Interior is in very good shape. Good tires. Car had recent sask safety done because it had hail damage. Hail damage is very faint only a few minor dings. Not noticeable unless you are looking for it. All maintenance was meticulously kept up at dealership including oil changed fuel filter changes transmission oil changes and the timing belt was changed. Recent ball joints and engine mounts were replaced with safety. Car gets around 50mpg on highway and the new 2.0l common rail Diesel engine is far superior in power smoothness and noise over the old 1.9 TDI diesels. Car is in very good shape and was well kept and maintained.

This is one very fun ride, and has lots and lots of custom parts, It was rebuilt twice with more and more custom parts, first in 1993 where it was made into a street legal register vehicle, went through an very time consuming certification process, where it finally past all requirements for it to be used on the street. the drive train has very low mileage. Recently I've added 4 wheel disc brakes, and new brake and clutch hydraulic system. I've invested over $20,000 in parts alone, and if you were to build it today would be over $30,000. I'm getting on in years, my sons are not interested in it and I would like to see it go to a good home. This would be equally fun at the cottage, the country or the city. A real head turner, and very fast, very reliable, very durable, and well just plain fun to drive.
