This Super Beetle is FUN to drive and has a nice thick steering wheel. It starts right up and the engine pulls strong. It needs an alignment job but was waiting to put a new rim on the right front first. The car is super clean and gets lots of nice comments. The car doesn't shake and the transmission was tightened a year ago. All work I had done was at Lavere's in Concord, CA. I have the original rims which are included with the car. It cruises easily at 70 mph, but I drive at 65mph. I've taken it on trips and haven't had any problems. Tires are newer with perhaps 3k miles on them. There's a sticker on the right window that is almost peeled off but shows it was driven to Mexico. Its been well cared for. There is some oil drops but its 43 years old and hasn't been any problem. The heater puts out a lot of heat when you turn it on in the Winter. I drive it to work and errands and cruise with the windows down. The sunroof hasn't been opened in years but doesn't leak. The seals would need to be replaced before you open it up to ensure it wouldn't leak. Shipping is on the buyer. Paypal is acceptable. We are sadly putting our beloved 99 Volkswagen Eurovan Winnebago full camper conversion up for sale.
