This is a custom VW Roadster pick-up. This vehicle was built in Modesto, CA. It was featured in Hot VW Magazine. This is all metal construction. The craftsmanship on this vehicle is top shelf. There are so many features that it is difficult to show all the details that have been built into this vehicle. It has a lift-off Black Hartz cloth Carson top. The chassis has been shortened 14 1/2". The front suspension has a 5" dropped Ford beam axle kit from Speedway Motors. It has Wilwood disc brakes, panhard bar and steering dampener. The rear suspension has been converted from swing axle to IRS with the trailing arms switched from side to side. It also has 26mm torsion bars installed. The rear brakes are drum with emergency. The engine is basically a stock 1600 dual port with some minor modifications and bug pack mufflers. The engine and transaxle have been raised 4 1/2" off the chassis. It is sitting on Dragstar wheels. All the silver parts have been powder coated. The interior is custom with VDO electronic gauges. This is a one-of-a-kind vehicle.
