The cost to bring the car to current registration is $88.00. Interior is good but headliner needs replacing. The stereo is new and has a detachable face. 1979 VW Convertible - Original California car and still is! The coolest summer car ever.. Car was produced in 12/79 in Germany. One of the last produced fuel injected and drives nice. Car has 103171 original miles. Interior and paint were replaced prior to our purchase we don't know year but a few chips and small dings. They are both faded but still nice. He drove it for awhile now has third child, driving mini van and car not been used for a year so car has to go to someone to enjoy. My nephew and I worked on car together over the last few years since he bought and here is a few of the maintenance items replaced just to list some: fuel sending unit, tie rods,bushings, front struts, strut mounts, dash cover, trunk carpet, floor mats, brakes, any rubber which was hard, new radio,fiberglass speaker pods, speakers, dyno.
