1970 VW beetle, a work in progress, and a daily driver ...... It's lowered, has new front disk breaks, new wheels and tires, new electronic ignition, new alternator, new shifter and shift bushings, new throttle cable, and peddle kit, new clutch, new shocks, new fuel lines, new battery, just did the motor mounts. Body work is done, and I painted it with rattle cans, you are welcome to start over. I put low back seats in it. It runs great, I've driven it to Palm Desert, to San Diego twice, and all over LA. It goes where ever I point it. It's fun to drive and a head turner There is no heater, I put J tubes, and extractor exhaust system and Glass Packs on it. The interior is thrashed, I replaced the window regulators, (found German ones) and put door panels on, but the seats need covering, there is no head liner,or carpet, etc, etc, etc. There is rust under the battery pan, an it was wrecked once upon a time on the left front corner.I am not the original owner, and I don't know who is. The mileage has turned over and past it's capacity, and the speedometer is currently disconnected because it was making a horrendous racket. 1.9 watercooled engine with about 120,000 miles on it. Good condition, pop-up works and has no rips, I've gotten a lot of things fixed on it (and have the receipts, about $3,000 worth of stuff) and it has never broken down on me. I also had a solar panel put on top which is connected to an extra battery and an inverter, so it has outlets for you to plug in a computer, phone, stereo, fan, etc. even when it isn't running. Stove has propane tank attached to it. Just had it at the mechanic this weekend to get it checked out. They changed the fuel filter and put a new part in the engine, but other than that there is nothing majorly wrong with the engine. Has an exhaust leak and a lot of rust underneath but still runs great. Will need new brakes sometime soon. I've been travelling around in this van for about 9 months (Chicago to northern California, then LA, then SF, then all around the LA area) and it has been a beast!

All badges have been replaced with black ones or removed. I have the stock radio, stock grill, and stock emblems if you would like make it back to original.
