This is a three owner, 1982 VW Rabbit diesel pickup truck, with 153k original miles!! This VW is equipped with the 4 cylinder, 1.6L diesel motor, a 5 speed manual transmission and front wheel drive!! I daily drive her everyday and spend about 30 dollars every 2 weeks, need a bigger truck so she needs a new home. I also replaced the old cracked tail lights with brand new ones. The paint shines and still looks good! There is no rust aside for surface stuff where the original paint had chipped off, Texas&Oregon truck since new. The truck does have some dings, dents and a few creases around the body, please see pictures. The bed and tailgate are dented as well however the gate still works just fine. The truck has a rebuilt title due to the minor body damage on the drivers side bed, please see pictures.The interior is in good shape. The seats are all original and in good condition aside for a few splits in the vinyl, please see pictures. The carpet is in decent shape, does have some stains but no rips/tears, please see pictures. All of the gauges work great including the clock! This truck is also equipped with a Clarion radio, tape player which still works but the speakers are old. The windshield is in good shape as well with just a few small pits, no chips and no cracks! The headliner is in good condition, please see pictures. There is only one split in the dashboard, please see pictures. This truck does not have ac. Included in the sale are the original owners manuals, The Limited Service Agreement-Registaration booklet, the Warranty&Maintenance Booklet as well as a Haynes VW Diesel Automotive Repair Manual&A Robert Bentley Rabbit Diesel Repair Manual!The motor starts instantly and purrs, just serviced, fresh engine oil&filter service, a fresh fuel&air filters installed!! The engine is all stock, never turned up, tweaked or modified in any way!! Also, the motor was completely rebuilt at around 120K miles, this was done some years back and we no longer have the records showing the work performed. The manual 5 speed transmission shifts smooth! The tires are almost new, front are Vee Rubber City Starr-V2 and rear are Toyo Spectrum Touring Radials, both size 175/70R13 and mounted on factory steel rims.Please keep in mind that this is an older vehicle and is not in new condition!! Please expect normal wear and tear for a vehicle of this age and miles, this is not a brand new vehicle and it is not perfect!!
