For Sale, My 1965 Vert. I've had this 1965 VW Convertable for thirty five years now. I've always had it "my way" which is without a top, just a roll bar, a bikini top and a tauneou cover over the back seats. I'm 70 now and it's time to let someone else enjoy it and make it "their way". Price is $10,500 or BO. The particulars: 1641 DP engine, 48,112 mi., killer street transaxle, 9,143 mi., rebuilt king pin/link pin front suspension, 11,672 mi., 12 volt electrical system, several colors of red paint on the body, a lot of paint chips and a small amount of very small dents and some dirt. This car is solid and will drive anywhere. Over the years I seem to have misplaced the rear view mirror and the back seat, the part you sit on. These are, of course convertable specific parts. Please, ask questions, if you have any. If not, I will assume there are none and it is sold as is. I'm including 12 pictures, the last picture is the way I've always driven it, "My Way", the rest of the pictures show the original convertable frame which includes the back window and a few other top parts.
