1973 VW Thing, Very fun car to drive and gets attention everywhere you go. This Thing is a great driver quality car, something your not afraid to actually use. That being said it has been well taken care of its entire life. It has had one repaint many years ago, but still looks nice aside from rock chips and wear. The original color was sunshine yellow, but now it is a sand beige color. The interior was also redone a number of years ago from the original black vinyl to a beige cloth material that holds up much better and doesn't get nearly as hot as the original vinyl. There is an aftermarket radio fitted but nothing was modified for the install. The top has been redone recently and it is rip free and nice and tight. Everything works aside from the original gas heater which had been disconnected but is still in the car. The car just had a complete transmission overhaul, during this process higher gear ratio gears were fitted to make this an even better cruiser. At this time a new flywheel, pressure plate, clutch, throwout and pilot bearing were fitted. The original floor pans are in excellent condition no rust at all. The only rust is about a silver dollar sized amount right in front of both rear wheels. It has a 1776 CC engine with dual port heads and alternator conversion. otherwise completely stock. This car has not been driven in the winter. It is stored in a climate controlled garage with the fuel being winterized. Please contact with any questionsMike(208)-447-8600

1980 VW Vanagon Riviera. Runs great, very cool. Has original paint and interior. Last of the air cooled Vanagons. 4 speed shifts very well, no crunches in any gears and clutch is good. Canvas is in excellent shape no tears, leaks or mold. Everything works excluding (heater blower motor) and fuel gauge. NO RUST in floors or wheel wells. Slight abrasion and 1 dent in front, 1 dent on lower right front corner, 1 dent on lower right rear. Tires are in great shape with lots of life left. Rear bench is from a Westfalia (much better design than the Riviera). Both front seats are completely original and in fantastic condition. Electrical works, missing the auxiliary battery. Water system has been winterized but works. I have not tried the propane but have no reason to suspect it is not working.
