Please see buyer notes below.This listing is for a 1999 Volkswagen Passat with the V6. The car has most of the options available including power windows, locks and sunroof. It also has the 6 CD changer (I guess someone still uses those right?), automatic trans, tilt etc. The car runs and drives very well and is comfortable going down the road. The maintenance is up to date. This is a 1999 and it's not perfect but it's great transportation and fun with the V6. Here's the good stuff and the niggles: Good stuff The usual VW front end issues have all been taken care of. New ball joints and an alignment has been done. The tires are newer Michelins with only a few thousand miles on them. They're about a year old. Recent oil and filter change No worries on the timing belt. Took care of that including the full kit that includes the water pump and thermostat (This is usually about an $800 maintenance job). No leaks Great heat....will need that soon. :-/ Interior has been fully detailed. Clean overall No rust NigglesThe front passenger power lock and window doesn't work (lock works manually)Cruise control inopPaint chip on front left edge of hoodRear seat has a couple of pokes in it, fronts have seat coversCup holder decorative trim loose Holler with any questions you might have. The miles may go up because it's currently my daily driver. Original one owner vehicle. Recent dealer service, all records on .pdf and available to interested parties. No body work EVER. Never damaged in any way. It is titled at our primary residence in FL. It is currently at our home near grand Rapids, MI. It has never been in MI in the winter (nor have we). Odometer reads 33700, it also has about 20,000 towed behind our Prevost coach, which are not included in the odometer reading. Three Prevost's, and about six different dinghy's, and this is clearly the best dingy ever. Stick shift, just put in neutral, hook up and off you go. When you get to your destination you have a fun to drive, easy to park, 35 to 50 MPG run around car. Fold down the back seats and this thing carries a lot of stuff, and if that's not enough, it also includes Tule cargo pod. Comes with everything you need to hook up and go. Tow bar, safety cables, breakaway system (set up for air brakes), lights wired to your rig, weather tech floor mats, battery new this spring, tires at 20,000 and are 70% good. The trailer hitch was installed for moving the tow dolly, that we originally used to tow it. Switched to flat towing, which is much easier. The bad; Front wheels are scuffed from the tow dolly straps. There are some rock chips in the paint. There are some surface flaws in the paint. There are 6 small holes in the fabric dash panel on the driver side. Please read my feedback, many happy buyers, lots of which are cars, and one was an airplane.
