Selling our almost perfect GTI. No dings, dents or scratches and always stored away from the elements. Has weathertech rain guards, floor mats, cargo tray and tinted windows. Other than that it is completely factory. No accidents whatsoever. Runs and drives like new and has had its 10k service so it's ready to go. We are the original owners and bought it new at Strong VW SLC, UT in late 2015. Due to our growing family we needed a larger car so that is the reason why we are selling. Are you looking for an AMAZING, FUN TO DRIVE, MKIV (1998-2005) JETTA, HAS VR6(V6) POWER, IS LOADED WITH EVERY OPTION (GLX) AVAILABLE, THAT IS IN GREAT CONDITION, and HAS ONLY HAD 2 OWNERS? THIS IS YOUR CAR AND YOU COULD BE OWNER NUMBER 3!!!!!!!! This is my daughter’s old car, she is now the owner of a brand new 2016 GOLF GTI so now it is time for Dad to sell her old car. We purchased this car off of a reputable eBay seller located in Tampa, Florida when it was just 2 years old and I had the privilege of driving it home. It was a fun enjoyable drive and is an amazing car. The car drove great on the way home and now 11 years later, still drives like it did that day. Handles great, has plenty of power, is a joy to drive. Clearly in my opinion one of the best cars that Volkswagen has to offer. And then of course being Dad, I had the opportunity to take care of this car for the past 11 years. It has been well taken care of and never abused. It has had regular oil changes using synthetic oil and OEM German filters. The original White paint is in great condition and is washed by dad on a regular basis. There are a couple of paint chips off of the front bumper cover, a small scuff on the passenger rear bumper cover and just very minor paint chips or scratches. It has lived in a garage the entire time that we have owned it. There is a small rust spot right behind the drivers front wheel, a common issue with MKIV Jetta’s and is purely cosmetic at this point. (See pictures for paint condition/issues). The tires are in good shape and are all matching. The original VW alloy wheels are in great shape as well. In the winter they had been removed and cleaned and waxed and then put back on during the summers. The windows have OEM tint on the fronts and a darker tint on the rears. The interior of the car is loaded with all the features that VW had and everything works as well. There is an included iPhone/iPod interface that was added that connects to the VW CD Changer port that is located in the trunk and includes a Apple lightning cord that is in the front console so you can plug in your iPhone/iPod to play music from it. There is also a Subwoofer enclosure in the trunk that contains 2 JBL 12” subwoofers and a separate amp that powers the subwoofers. There is also a subwoofer level control mounted on the side of the console so you can control the sound level of the subwoofer. The black leather interior is in great shape with no rips or tears and is conditioned regularly to keep it nice and soft and moisturized. Also included are Volkswagen rubber mats to keep all the dirt or winter gunk contained, these are a great addition to any car. The heater works great in the winter. The air conditioner blows cold in the summer and it is all controlled by the climate controls. The heated leather seats are pure joy on a cold winter drive. The rear seats fold down to give you access to more cargo room if needed. Here is a list of all the options you will enjoy! V6 2.8L Engine 12V – Fast and strong, no oil leaks, Spark Plugs and Wires just changed 2 weeks ago. FWD – For Great performance in the snow. ABS 4 Wheel Brakes – Stops you quick when needed Air Conditioning – Works Great and has never had any issues Power Windows – All work just fine Power Door Locks – All lock just fine Keyless Entry – No fumbling with the key trying to find the lock Cruise Control – Works for easy driving Dual Air Bags – Safety! Side Air Bags – Safety! Dual Power Seats – For comfort on those drives (Fwd, Back, Up, Down, recline) with Memory Front heated seats – Toasty warm on those cool or cold days Leather Interior – In great shape and regularly treated with Leather cleaner/conditioner Manual 5 Speed Transmission – Clutch in good shape and shifts great! Power Steering – A joy to drive. Tilt Wheel AM/FM Stereo with Cassette and CD Player iPhone Interface to CD Changer with Apple Lightning Cord Rear Spoiler – Gives the car a nice look Alloy Wheels – Original and in great shape The car has only had 2 owners! Started out in Pennsylvania and then Florida for the first 2 years and then we purchased it in 2004. There have been no serious mechanical issues reported on the car fax or when we have had it. Had never been in any wrecks or body damage that we know of. Actually it is an amazing car, in the interest of full discloser so you understand everything you are getting. When I look back over the past 11 years of ownership and try to come up with known issues that are affecting this car here are the ones that I can come up with:VW makes the oil pans on their cars out of aluminum and they are prone to dripping oil from the drain plug. A minor inconvenience. My daughter had been having the oil serviced by STRONG VW Dealer in Salt Lake City when it developed drain plug leak the first time. The Dealer replaced the oil pan. This last time I changed the oil the drain plug developed a small drip. This was remedied by placing Teflon tape on the threads of the drain plug and washer and the drip was completely eliminated. I will include extra drain plugs as I replace them each time and will show you to keep this from leaving an oil drip in your garage. Also included will be extra German Oil filters for when you change the oil.The Starter will occasionally make a whirling noise as you release the key when starting when it is warm. This is a known and common problem on VW V6 engines. Does NOT affect starting and is not causing any damage.The little rust spot behind the drivers front tire. Again only cosmetic at this time and you can see them in the included pictures.Occasionally the Water temperature gage does not read the correct temperature, but as a backup there is the original warning light if the coolant level gets either too hot or the level needs to be serviced. That is it! You will be driving one amazing 2002 VW Jetta VR6 GLX that is loaded and drives like the fine VW European car that is! I hope you enjoy it as much as we have! ASKING PRICE $3500.00 OBO Regarding pricing: I have scoured the internet and local listings and have found plenty of VW Jetta’s that were not as nicely equipped as this one. Plus finding one that as the VR-6(V6 engine) and the GLX trim level is even harder to come by. Our asking price is a fair price based on the car and the condition that it is in. This Jetta is in great condition and is perfect for anyone who needs a nice reliable car that gets great gas mileage. I am selling the car because my wife and I bought a truck for our 2nd car. Absolutely nothing wrong with the car and it really is a great car. This car is loaded with everything except navigation but still comes with the touch screen. The bluetooth and iPhone plug in are nice features. It also comes with satellite radio. There is about 19,000 miles left on the warranty Selling under book so I expect this to sell quickly. It does have a couple door dings and a scratch on the bumper. I was quoted $250 to get it buffed out

Priced below NADA value. Make me an offer! Amazing gas mileage. Clean title. Immaculately cared for, washed/vacuumed weekly, brand new tires. On a trip home from Idaho we achieved 52 MPG. All maintenance and service done at Strong VW of Salt Lake City. One small dent under passenger side door (was like that when I bought it.
