I have owned a few VW diesels and this is the best diesel motor VW ever made in my opinion. It has longevity, 500k miles plus, none of the restrictive emission requirements like the newer ones, and parts are plentiful.The car is quiet and purrs nicely motoring down the highway. Rides SUPER smooth while still getting 45+mpg. If I didn't have a lot invested in my 2000 Jetta TDI, I would keep this one!I feel $5900 is a fair buy-it-now. I know what Kelly Blue Book says about value, but I don't care. These cars hold their resale value and will last you as long as you feed them diesel, change the timing belt every 100k, and change the oil every 5k-10k miles. I will not ship.
