The TR3 was produced at the Triumph factory in Coventry from 1955-1962. The TR3 “A” represents the evolution of the earlier TR2, but with greater “power” and braking. It was marketed as an economical entry-level sports car, a step up from the MG, but below the Austin-Healey in size and power. 4 speed gearbox; 4 cylinder; 68,000 miles; Litchfield green; VIN # TS63562; runs well; very reliable driver quality sports car; corners beautifully; cosmetic restoration including an all new black interior completed in July 2016; all receipts available; clear SC Title; serious buyers only.

I have a 1973 Triumph TR6 I purchased from the owner over 30 years ago. First of all, this production car still has its original engine and drive train. The engine has never been apart! I have replaced the original twin Zenith-Stromberg Carbs with triple Weber DCOE side-draft carburetors. I installed an electric fuel pump and an electronic ignition system. I next installed a new convertible top, floor boards, new carpeting, installed new seats, new crash pads and a new dashboard. I also installed an Alpine CD player. I then sent it to the painter. I replaced the brake pads and shoes. I had body work done by a professional (NO Bondo!) and had him paint it Candy Apple Red. I put new Michelin tires (1 inch larger than original). I have the original bumpers off at this time and they need to be chromed. Lots of receipts for parts/repairs, the original jack and near perfect original aluminum anodized wheel trim rings. This car has honest original miles. It does not leak oil, all the instruments work. I recently replaced the alternator and created a short in the system. It was last run about three weeks before Thanksgiving 2015 but is not running at this time. Needs a new home.

We are extremely excited to bring you one of the cleanest original TR6s in existence today. Traveling only 7k miles since it's assembly in Coventry, this sweetheart of a Roadster has lived a very sheltered life(both literary and Figuratively.) It seems as though this TR6 has only been out of the garage long enough to rack up It's 7k miles and then was sent straight back to it's room. The original trunk carpet and spare cover look as though nothing heavier than deep thoughts have been placed on them. The radiator cowling which is not a material which lasts long in foul weather looks just as good as the day it was placed there by caring British Leland hands. The pictures speak for themselves when it comes to how well this car has been preserved. Not only is this TR6 in pristine condition inside and out the 2.5L springs to life quickly with no smoke or hesitation. The inline 6 pulls hard from any RPM and makes this British roadster an absolute blast in the twisties. This TR6 is available to be seen by appointment at Maserati Lotus Greenville in Upstate SC. Call Chris with any questions at (864)255-3593.

Boot cover and toneau covers in excellent condition. I have restored several TR6's and everything has been done as should be. This is pretty close to new as you will find today. Work done: New wire harness, ignition switch, New windshield, Front suspension taken apart, cleaned, painted, new poly bushings installed. Front calipers taken apart, new SS pistons installed. New brake lines. New rear brake cylinders & pads. Rear brake drums turned, cleaned the rust out from where they had frozen from just sitting. Rebuilt brake M/C. Rebuilt clutch M/C & slave cylinder. New seals in differential. New Luk Clutch & pressure plate & disc. New Paint outside, engine bay and trunk. new carpet. Original chrome bumpers, lamps and door handles look like new. Nickel plated valve cover, polished intake.Seats have new foam, new sun visors. New fuel tank and sender, new fuel pump, rubber lines replaced. 18,000 mile car , According to previous owner , the car was purchased new in Indiana, completely covered in Zebart undercoating, and at sometime it was moved to Virgina where it sat for many years, in 2008 he purchased it and move it to his mothers garage in Florida where I purchased it. After sitting for so long the brakes were frozen in place, and there had been an apparently short in the wire harness so I replaced it. The car has the original soft top. There are two cuts in in from the previous not folding the top correctly. At the buy it now price the car comes with the 17 inch Rota wheels that are shown. Anything less than that the car comes with the original rims on new tires. South Carolina title in hand. I encourage anyone interested in the car to come and view it or have it inspected . The car is 38 years old and is sold as is where is. The car is located in Greer, SC

1976 Triumph TR6, the last year.  Drives great.  Strong 2.5 inline engine, sounds great.  Good strong clutch.  No leaks.  No rust at all.  Tires are almost new.  Interior is fine.  Restored 10 years ago.  The top has a small hole (doesn't allow water still).  Two mounts on the luggage rack are broke.  Brake master cylinder needs to be replace, car will come to a stop but brake pressure is not what it should be. Call Michael at (704)451-5242 with any questions.  Please no scammers and no non-paying bidders
