Up for auction is my wifes very nice 1975 Triumph Spitfire. I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. Please take time to read the auction in it's entirety as much work and dollars have been spent. In the last 4240 miles the car has had over $8853 spent on her ( receipts come with the car ) so you can be assured she has been well taken car of and ready for the road. Mechanicals: The car has had much work done and dollars spent and she is ready for the open road. Over the last 4240 miles $8853 or more has been spent and I have the receipts to prove it. She runs and drives great. The car was just had major service / work completed this week. The service this week included new points, new spark plugs, new ignition wires, new distributor cap, new rotor button, oil change and new air filter. Within roughly the last 4240 miles the following work was also completed. Most of which was done at the "Flying Circus English Cars" repair shop in Raleigh North Carolina: new heater control valve, new temp sending unit, new fuel sending unit, new battery, new front rotors, new front brake pads, new wheel bearings, front end alignment, new brake master cylinder, new clutch mater cylinder, new front shocks, front springs / coils, new voltage regulator, upgraded DVG Webber carburetor, new rear shock, new rear Leaf Springs & mounting hardware, new axle, new U-joints, new rear suspension trunnion kit, new vertical link Trunnion, new complete exhaust system and 5 new quality tires where fitted ( 4 on the car and 1 on the trunk spare ).The car shifts up / down through all the gears with no issues or noises. The car also sports an upgraded auxiliary electric radiator fan to ensure you'll never have an over heating issue with the car. The rear end is strong and makes no noises. The car needs nothing that I know of other than to be driven and enjoyed. Electrical's: Many hours and dollars where spent on going through this area: headlights ( high & low beam ) work , wipers work, horn works, front & rear turn signals work, front & rear running lights work, brake lights work, backup lights work, license plate lights work, interior courtesy light work , dash gauge lights work, radio works and blower fan works. All gauges are correct "Smith" brand and are in working order. Note: The car does have a backup temp gauge and a oil pressure gauge for safety. Interior: Is in good condition and I'll let the photos speak for its condition. Exterior: The car looks very nice in the photos and in person but I would still say the paint is of driver quality ( not show ). I would rather under state the paint quality as apposed to over stating it and the buyer being disappointed . The soft top is brand NEW and was installed just this week. The chrome wheel trim rings and chrome door mirrors where recently replaced as well. The car is extremely straight and the bumpers are in nice condition. Underbody: This area looks original and in very good condition. I find no rust issues with the car. Underbody photos available upon request. Trunk: The truck is rock solid. The car does comes with a spare wheel with a new tire installed on the rim, lug wrench, jack and 2 repair manuals and the original owners operating manual / book. Offers: Yes I'm open to offers but please don't waist your time with low ball offers. Overseas Bidders: Yes the auction is open to overseas bidders. The auction is open to overseas bidders and if you need to ship overseas try Schumacher Cargo Logistics shipping for fast free quotes ( http://www.schumachercargo.com/ ). I'm not an expert and my opinion of the car may vary from yours so please look at the photos closely and if you need more information or the extra photos I have available please ask prior to bidding. I know how hard it is to purchase a car online so please ask any and all questions you have prior to bidding or if you can come see and drive the car for yourself ( I really encourage you to do so ) as I want the winning bidder to be satisfied with the car when it arrives. Due to the cars age and having no way to warranty the car I'm selling her "as is". A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auctions end.

1974 triumph TR6. This is not a show car, just a nice driver. Mechanically the car runs well, drives well and is largely rust free. It just had both floorpans replaced with brand-new factory pans, new walnut dash & crash pad, recovered seats, new tires on refinished wheels, recent clutch, brake pads & front brake lines, rebuilt carbs, spin on oil filter conversion and quite a bit of mechanical refurbishment. The paint is several years old having been repainted from its original red to white sometime ago and it shows some flaws & blemishes, but certainly presentable. Chrome is in good shape & it has brand-new black top, just installed. Please feel free to call for more detailed information or pictures. 919-623-7144

It has a powerful inline six motor that makes a perfect sound as you tick through the gears, while enjoying the curvy backroads. This 1974 TR6 appears mechanically well-sorted. It has a great history of being purchased new, by a doctor, in '74. It was sold to its second owner four years later, and she cherished it for nearly a quarter century. After that, this Triumph roadster went into the hands of the expert mechanic who maintained it for the owner. The most recent owner has been a meticulous caretaker since 2011. All of this means a full file that we can trace back more than 35 years of maintenance and care. The Crimson Red exterior is in very good condition today. It looks the way a sporting two-seater should, with handsome cut-down doors, a long hood (bonnet), and matching redline tires. Other details like the chrome and rubber bumpers, the trunk-mounted luggage rack, racing-style gas cap, and the instantly recognizable taillights are very nice, and need no work to enjoy the car immediately. The interior is another hallmark of the great British roadster. With a real wood dashboard full of original Smiths gauges, it definitely has a hand-crafted European feel. Everything has a deep, dark appearance from the bucket seats to the gearshift boot. Because nothing is better than your favorite song on a road trip, this roadster has an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo system. And for those times when you get caught out in wet weather, there is a brand new black vinyl folding roof. British roadsters are often known for their fun on the road despite being typically underpowered. That's why the TR6 is so coveted. It's got a 2.5-liter inline-six that doesn't suffer from this anemic reputation, and it's one of the larger motors out of the iconic era of sprightly roadsters. In a car that weighs barely 2,500 lbs, it has quick acceleration and the power to keep pulling well into highway speeds. Part of this versatility comes from the control you get from the four-speed manual transmission. You can tell from one look at the engine bay that the maintenance history is accurate. This includes key components such as the front disc brakes, starter, clutch, fuel pump, and alternator all replaced within the last few thousand miles. In fact, the Stromberg carburetors were rebuilt this summer. These TR6s are amazing backroad burners, and this one has been cared for exactly the way you'd want for a reliable Sunday driver. All of this is packaged for under $16K, so we know it won't last long in our showroom. Up for auction is my very nice 1972 Triumph TR-6. The car has had nearly $6500 spent on her in the last 2000 miles including a complete engine rebuild. This a numbers matching car with an over-drive transmission. This is a very low mileage car with on having only 61,835 miles on the odometer. I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. Heritage: This is a numbers matching car and I will order the British Heritage Certificate from England and have it sent to the new owner in their name and address after the auction ends. Mechanicals: The car runs and drives great and she is ready for the open road. The car was just serviced last week. The service included a complete tune up which including new points, new spark plugs, new distributor cap, new rotor button , new ignition wires, oil changed, new oil filter, new air filters, radiator was flushed / new coolant added, new temperature sending switch installed, new radiator cap installed, transmission fluid serviced and the rear end fluid was serviced. The shop also installed a new radiator air intake duct last week. The car had a complete engine rebuild at 61,020 miles at a cost of nearly $3300. Prior to that mileage the carburetors where professionally rebuilt, new alternator installed, new fan belt installed, the starter was rebuilt and other smaller items where replace / repaired. The car sports a newer upgraded duel exhaust system that sounds fabulous. The carburetors are balanced / tuned correctly and the car has great throttle reponse and great power. The car shifts up / down through all the gears with no issues or noises. The rear end is strong and makes no noises. The car handles well and sits on 4 matching like new radial tires. Overdrive Transmission: Yes this car does have an overdrive transmission and it works great in both 3rd and 4th gears. Electrical's: This area is in excellent condition with the following items in working order. Headlights ( high & low beam ) work , wipers work, wiper washer motor works, front & rear turn signals work, front & rear running lights work, brake lights work, backup lights work, license plate lights work, dash lights work, radio works ( it was just replaced / upgraded last week ) and blower fan works. Heck even the hazard switch works. Gauges. The gauges are all correct "Smith" brand and are in proper working order. Interior: Is in nice condition and I'll let the photos speak for its condition. Note: the stereo system was just replaced last week as well. Exterior: The car shows well in the photos and presents herself well in person. The repaint on the car was done about 3 years or so ago and has held up very nicely as seen in the photos. The wheels are in very nice condition. The car sits nicely on the ground with no visible signs leaning or sagging. As seen all body panels, hood, trunk and doors are very straight with no dings or dents. The rocker panels are solid and in very nice condition. Again, like new tires on all 4 corners. Also, the chrome wheel trim rings where just replaced, outer window waist seals repalced and the antenna was replaced. Note: The original aluminum wheel trim rings do come with the car. Soft Top: The soft top is in like new condition. Trunk: The trunk is solid and I just had a new trunk panel kit insalled while at the shop last week. Car does have a spare tire, jack and top cover. Overseas Bidders: Yes the auction is open to overseas bidders. The auction is open to overseas bidders and if you need to ship overseas try Schumacher Cargo Logistics shipping for fast free quotes ( http://www.schumachercargo.com/ ). In Closing: The above description is my observations and opinions and they very from person to person so ask all questions prior to bidding. If I have missed anything in the cars description it was not my intention so please ask for as much detail as you need to make an informed decision on the car prior to bidding / making an offer. Due to the cars age and having no way to warranty the car I'm selling her as is and mileage exempt. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auctions end.

Up for auction is a my very nice 1973 Triumph TR-6 ( 4 speed non-overdrive ). This is a rare numbers matching car with no know rust issues. 1973 was the last year for the solid chrome bumpers which makes her that much more desirable. As you can see the car is a very nice driver quality condition car. Last year the car had over $6000 spent on her and it shows. The car sports new interior, high end cloth soft top and newer Coker Classic Redline tires. I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. Mechanicals: The car runs and drives like a dream! The car was just professionally serviced which included a complete tune up, carburetors balanced & tuned, oil changed, oil filter replaced, air filters replaced, transmission fluid serviced, rear end fluid serviced and all other fluids topped off. The car received a new clutch kit and new u-joints about 1000 miles ago. The car starts right up with no issues or smoke. The engine is strong and has great acceleration. The brakes and clutch peddles are strong and firm. The car shifts up / down through all the gears with no issues. The engine is tight with no know fluid leaks. Steering is tight and responsive and she handles very well on the road. The upgrade duel exhaust sounds awesome!! Electrical's: This area is in great condition. The following items are in proper working order: headlights ( high & low beam ) work , wipers work, front & rear turn signals work, front & rear running lights work, front and rear side maker lights work, brake lights work, backup lights work, license plate lights work, dash gauge lights work, dash indicator / warning lights work, blower fan works, hazard switch works and the trunk light works. Gauges: All gauges are correct and original "Smith" brand. Interior: Absolutely fabulous !! It's in like new condition and looks as good in person as it does in the photos. Last year well over $3000 was spent getting her to look this nice. You name it and its was probably replaced. The car also sports a new high end Alpine stereo system. Exterior: The car looks very nice but still should be considered as a " driver" or higher ( opinions vary ). The extremely high end "cloth" black soft top along with the newer "Coker Classic" Redline tires really set the car off. The car sits nicely on the ground with no visible signs leaning or sagging. Look at how well the body, hood, trunk and doors fit. As seen all body panels, hood, trunk and doors are laser straight with no dings or dents. The rocker panels are solid and in nice condition. Note: there is a small crack in the drivers rear rurn signal lens but don't fret I have ordered a new one from the UK and will have it replaced prior to the car being picked up. Wheel & Tires: The wheels are in nice condition and are wrapped in "Coker Classic" Redline tires. If you know these Coker tires then you know how expensive they are. The tires with shipping and install ran about $900. The tires have less than 1000 miles on them. Soft Top: The soft top is in exceptional good condition and is "cloth" not the vinyl type. The top alone cost $812 plus shipping and install cost for a total of over $1200. At the same time the soft top was replaced the top frame was completely reconditioned and painted in correct flat black paint. Top folds and stores easily. This top sets the car apart from all others you see out there and looks stunning. Tops / Covers: The car does come with a top cover and a car cover. Trunk: The truck is rock solid and has a new trunk panel kit and trunk light. The car has a spare tire and jack. Underbody: This area looks unbelievably solid as seen in the auction photo. I do have more underbody photos available upon request. Offers: Yes I'm open to offers but please no "Low Ball" offers. Shipping: If you need to have the car shipped to your location here in the states you can get a fast and free online quote from Able Auto Transport at: http://www.ableautotransport.com/ Overseas Bidders: Yes the auction is open to overseas bidders. The auction is open to overseas bidders and if you need to ship overseas try Schumacher Cargo Logistics shipping for fast free quotes ( http://www.schumachercargo.com/ ). I'm not an expert and my opinion of the car may vary from yours so please look at the photos closely and if you need more information or extra photos let me know prior to bidding. I know how hard it is to purchase a car online so please ask any and all questions you have prior to bidding or if you can come see and drive the car for yourself ( I really encourage you to do so ) as I want the winning bidder to be satisfied with the car when it arrives. No warranties / guarantees are expressed or implied. Due to the cars age I'm selling her mileage "exempt". A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auctions end time.

1963 Triumph Spitfire4 Mark 1. 42,461 original miles, original British racing green/red with all original components. A true "barn find" just rescued from 29 year storage in a basement. This time capsule was always maintained and it shows; no hit/no accident car with all original parts present, including hardware, bumpers, motor/tranny/rear, interior, tires/wheels/jack, convertible top/frame, radio, etc etc..an early British sports car lovers/spitfire dream! 29 years ago the owner decided to repaint and refreshen his spitfire; after meticulously taking some parts off and priming the body, other obligations preventing further work arose and thus left this beauty to "sit" for almost 3 decades. This car needs an easy restoration to bring it back to its original driving beauty. The body and all components are in excellent condition. The motor/tranny were in perfect working order when stored. Aside from paint/body, the interior and mechanicals will need a freshen after sitting for so long. You "will not" find a better, more well-preserved "original" Series/Mark 1 Spitfire "anywhere" other than what you see and have found here. The pictures show the car as it currently sits, having "just" been pulled from its long 29 year underground storage, complete with decades of dust and all. Pictures "do not" do this car justice; No disappointments!! Buyer responsible for shipping and related charges.

Up for auction is a nice 1974 Triumph TR-6 ( non-overdrive ) project with only 77,989 miles on the odometer. The car also comes with the rare and highly sought after factory hard top. I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. Make me an offer and lets make a deal!!! Heritage: This is a true numbers matching car as I know it to be after doing much research. The production date is Oct. 1973, commission number is CF 13445 U, engine number is CF 13568 UE, body tag #1 is T 12525 CF and body tag #2 is 13078 CF. The car is still in its original color of Pimento Red ( paint code #72 ) and interior trim color code #63 Chestnut . I have ordered the British Heritage Certificate from England and I will mail it to the new owner when in comes in ( takes about 30 days or so given the holiday season ). http://www.heritage-motor-centre.co.uk/store/ Mechanicals: The engines runs with a battery and a auxiliary fuel source. The car was last run earlier this year and ran well with no smoke, noises and held good oil pressure. The transmission was removed to replace the clutch. The fuel tank has been recondition and is now ready to re-install. This is a pretty straight forward project to get her back on the road. Note: The tires are brand NEW and the car rolls freely. Gauges: All gauges are correct and original "Smith" brand and where working when the restoration started.. Interior: The seats and door panels are in very good usable condition. As seen the car will need a transmission cover and a carpet kit. Exterior: The car sits nicely on the ground with no leaning, sagging or any signs of the dreaded TR-6 "Squatting " issues. As seen all body panels, hood, trunk, doors and wheel arches are laser straight. The bumpers and luggage rack are in very, very nice condition!! The tires are NEW and where just replaced last week. All glass is original Triplex glass in very nice condition. The car has had no engine fire as seen in the photos of the engine bay and interior but the front hood and rear deck lid look a bit strange so here is the deal on them. The previous owner put something on the front hood and rear deck lid to remove the paint when he started the restoration and screwed it up and never finished removing the paint thus they look the way they do. Both deck lids are in good condition but will need to be striped down prior to painting. Soft Top: The soft top and frame are in serviceable condition but the windows are clouding . Hard Top: The car does come with its rare and highly sought after factory hard top in restorable condition. Underbody: The frame looks very solid. As seen in the photos there is some rust starting on the drivers floor board. I'm not an expert and my opinion of the car may vary from yours so please look at the photos closely and if you need more information or the extra photos I have available please ask prior to bidding. I know how hard it is to purchase a car online so please ask any and all questions you have prior to bidding or if you can come see the car for yourself ( I really encourage you to do so ) as I want the winning bidder to be satisfied with the car when it arrives. Up for auction is a very nice 1977 Triumph Spitfire. I purchased the car locally as a graduation gift for my Goddaughter to use while in collage ( looked long and hard to fine one this nice and well sorted ). However, her mother as nixed the idea and wants her to drive a newer car with more safety features so I'm selling her on. I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. Please take time to read the auction in it's entirety as much work and dollars have been spent. Mechanicals: The car has had much work done and dollars spent and she is ready for the open road. She runs and drives great. The car was just had major service / work completed this week. The service this week included new points, new spark plugs, new coil, oil change, new oil filter, new fuel pump, new fuel filter, new upper & lower radiator hose and the radiator was flushed and new coolant added. Within roughly the last 2000 miles the following work was also completed: New front brake calipers, new front rotors, new front brake pads, new front brake hoses, new front shocks, new front springs / coils, new brake master cylinder, new clutch master cylinder, new starter, new DVG Webber carburetor, new rear brake shoes, new rear shocks, new front sway bar, new complete exhaust system and 5 new Bridgestone where fitted ( 4 on the car and 1 on the trunk spare ).The car shifts up / down through all the gears with no issues or noises. The rear end is strong and makes no noises. Electrical's: Many hours and dollars where spent on going through this area: headlights ( high & low beam ) work , wipers work, horn works, front & rear turn signals work, front & rear running lights work, brake lights work, backup lights work, license plate lights work, interior courtesy light work , dash gauge lights work, radio works, hazard switch works and blower fan works. All gauges are in correct working order. Note: Interior: Is in very good condition and I'll let the photos speak for its condition. Note: The carpet was replace some time last year. Exterior: The car looks very nice in the photos but I would still say the paint is of driver quality ( not show ). The car is extremely straight and the bumpers are in very nice condition. The car does come with a Tonneau / cockpit cover, top cover and a near new car cover. Underbody: This area looks original and in very good condition given the cars age. I find no rust issues with the car. Trunk: The truck is rock solid. The car does comes with a spare wheel, original lug wrench and original jack. THe car also comes with books, manuals and many new extra parts. Due to the cars age and having no way to warranty the car I'm selling her as is and mileage exempt. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auctions end.
