Triumph TR4A IRS, 1967The last and the best of the early Triumphs Very clean body, repainted once over the original paint in original red, excellent chassis with no signs of rust (but a few spots showing professional and proper repair), excellent original factory floors, NO undercoating, just perfect original sheet metal. For a near fifty year old Triumph, this car is amazingly clean underneath. Engine was just rebuilt, shows 150-160 psi compression in every cylinder, 75 psi oil pressure on the highway when warm, no smoke, quiet valves, and no dreadful oil leaking. Rebuilt SU carbs, new air filters, runs beautifully. Freshly rebuilt transmission and brand new clutch. Brakes: new rotors, calipers, wheel cylinders, pads and shoes. Shocks seem to be in good condition and passed 'the bounce test.' Also, no clunks in the rear end, an important consideration in any IRS car. Wire wheels were primed and painted, seem to be in good condition, exhaust is reasonably quiet and has a sound appropriate for the car, interior is in very good condition considering the seats are probably original, recently installed a new dash top. Convertible top, tonneau, and boof cover all seem to be original and in very good condition. Also just had a new windshield seal and compression strip installed, new door seals, all original gauges work and even the original AM radio works fine. Which is really incredible. Overall, a very nice example of this collector's Triumph, ready to drive anywhere, rated at 110 mph performance, soft ride, clean engine and trunk bays, has spare wheel and tire, jack and knock off hammer. Car available for immediate sale and advertised elsewhere. Hence we reserve the right to end the auction at any time and for any reason. Car is sold ‘as is’ with no warranty or guarantee whatsoever. Has full paperwork for legal registration anywhere. We can assist in transport anywhere in the world and can deliver it on our truck within, say, 300 miles. Glad to store the car in a safe, insured spot until arrangements are made. Terms: 20% deposit with 48 hours and full payment within seven days. W/transfer or check is fine. Triumph TR6, 1971Unusually clean original car Excellent body with original paint....hence, no damage, no rust, no repairs, no plastic filler, rust free chassis, no trunk floor rust, VERY straight, great door and panel fit, and remarkably well preserved original paint. VERY FEW TR6s can boast of such an excellent body. And fewer with original paint. Excellent drive train, 140-145 psi compression in every cylinder, no smoke hot or cold, 60+ psi oil pressure when warm, quiet valves, no leaks, runs very well. Brakes just done with new calipers, new flex lines, tight front end, new radial tires, four pipe exhaust. Wiring appears to be in very good condition, very clean engine bay, seats recently redone, carpets replaced, good original top with new plastic windows, chrome is a bit worn but not pitted or peeling, no rear universal clunks. Engine seems unusually lively and free revving. No rust on the chassis, floors have been replaced (with factory panels), no rust in inner sills or trunk floor. AND NO rust bubbles on top rear seams (very common). Just received a new transmission mount, new tire rod end boots, and new sway bar bushings. New battery, seat belts, radiator shroud, and lots of little details. A rare opportunity to buy a nice, clean, unmolested fairly early TR6 with full chrome bumpers at a very reasonable price. Ready to drive anywhere. Car available for immediate sale and advertised elsewhere. Hence we reserve the right to end the auction at any time and for any reason. Car is sold ‘as is’ with no warranty or guarantee whatsoever. Has full paperwork for legal registration anywhere. For sale is my beautiful 1964 Triumph TR4. One could spend countless hours admiring the beauty and jewel-like features of this little car – and I have. I have kept this car for over a year even though I do not fit in it because I so love to look at it. I am truly enraptured by its adorable beauty. I have come to the conclusion that this 6’3” 195 pound man with a 35” inseam is never going to be able to drive this car for more than 10 minutes with his knees smashed against the dashboard, and therefore I should part with it. I took it in trade on a muscle car – the kind of car suited for a bigger man like me. You will need to be under 6 foot and have feet smaller than a men’s size 13 to comfortably drive it…. I am NOT interested in trades. Again, NO TRADES. I know this will be asked…. Payment will be wire transfer or cash in person if picking up the same day – other methods must clear my bank to my satisfaction before anything happens. I can store the car for a few months if it is fully paid for and I may even let someone pay over a couple of months but TALK TO ME FIRST before you offer or bid so we don’t have a misunderstanding. First and foremost, this car is Toyota powered. It has a big 2.4 liter four cylinder out of a Celica backed by a Toyota 5-speed transmission. This is none other than the performance version of the 22R, widely regarded as Toyota’s most durable engine ever. This powertrain gives the car 50% more NET horsepower (135 versus 90) than original and a slick-shifting close ratio 5 speed transmission which really livens up the car and makes blasting down winding backroads and long jaunts on the highway much more enjoyable. In fact its hard to resist a little wheelspin here and there... It runs super smooth and it is rev happy (1500 RPM higher rev limit than original) with a sporting exhaust – delightful to hear - not loud and turbine smooth. No leaks or smoke or bad noises. The curb weight is 150 pounds less than original (Toyota is aluminum block and head versus iron for the original) so performance is improved in every way. It can get 30 MPG if driven lightly! The car drives extremely well, stops and steers as it should. A few rattles but not terrible for a 51 year old British car. The worst rattle being the drivers side window which has lost its "windlacing" or whatever the rubber is called between the window and the door itself. It has a wonderful go-cart feel and EVERYONE smiles when you drive by, even grouchy old ladies. The body is straight and rust free and has an absolutely gorgeous older high-end paint job on it. There are a few small paint flaws (scratches, tiny touch-ups) if you go looking for them, but it is absolutely gorgeous. The color, smoothness and gloss are PERFECT. One small ding in the top of the driver’s side front fender and another small flaw at the top of that same fender wheel lip are the only significant flaws in the body. Both look like they were caused by a leaning mechanic….. The car had been in Oregon since new so it is a true dry climate car and it looks very good underneath. It has a nice solid feel driving down the road. The car has ALWAYS been garaged, and currently resides in my Big Red Barn with many other vintage cars and hot rods. The trim and chrome are in good to very good condition. The bumpers are original, and remarkable for their age, but they have fine scratches and a bit of fading. Very nice but not perfect. Luckily these are available as is every other part for this car at low cost from Moss Motors. The interior is decent with a flawless newer carpet but the dash pad is looking old. Presentable but could use improvement. A couple of open dash holes that I don’t know what they are for. The glovebox has no liner or lock. Again, every single part is available for cheap from Moss Motors so there is nothing that cannot be fixed. The tachometer and the speedometer are not functioning but ammeter water temp and oil pressure work perfectly (never gets hot, awesome oil pressure, charging works well). Headlights and rear parking lights and brake lights and even both license plate lights work. Wipers work. Parking brake works but detent does not hold so you have to hold it. Turn signals do not work – I always used my arm…. Front parking lights do not work. Tires have loads of tread but are older. Mounted on a really neat set of old Ansen slotted aluminum mags. Glass is excellent, widows roll up and down properly. I have a top for it that fits very snugly, good enough for an open transport across the country. It’s not beautiful, but it is very good – the rear window having some kind of staining on one side about the size of the edge of a man's hand. One small rip that does not go all the way through, both defects visible in the pictures.Overseas bidders welcome. I am 100 miles from New York shipping ports. I would guess transport to a New York or New Jersey shipper would be less than $500. I sold a Corvette to Austrailia last year and it went well and the buyer was very happy with the car. Please do contact me through eBay with questions and provide a phone number if you want to talk on the phone. To describe every little facet of a car can take pages so please if you are serious, let’s talk. I have a clean and clear Oregon title for the car, so there will be no issues registering it anywhere. The car comes with tons of magazines and other stuff relating to the car. I hope to see it go to a good home and a happy loving owner. I really do adore this little car.

With a long history file , this is a very clean car that has undergone an extensive restoration. It has been updated with brand new Konig wheels and a stainless sports exhaust. The interior carpets, seat covers and all internal panels have been replaced including a new wooden steering wheel. History includes receipts for the restoration including a single invoice for almost $16K for the body restoration. It has been driven through the last few summers and never missed a beat. A reliable car that looks and sounds great. Recent new parts - rear hubs and differential, alternator, all hydraulics clutch and brakes, Rotors and pads, quick ratio steering rack, sound system, brand new battery. This is ready to drive without expense. The paint color is not the original but a professional custome paint applied at the time of the restoration.

Have to regrettably let go of my 1980 Triumph Spitfire. Due to some changes with my work/life schedule, I will not have the time as previously thought to own and maintain my car. Breaks my heart, but it is what it is. I acquired this car last summer from the Midwest, and as such it is a rust free vehicle - which is tough to find on these old British Sports cars. Although owned for a short period of time, I babied it, was stored in a heated garage and was prepping for it to be driven quite a bit this summer. Its had oil changed and a fresh coat of wax put on her. I dropped in a brand-new battery 2 months ago as well. This is the original red color too, but was repainted 10 or so years ago, according to the PO. The previous owner has done a good job storing this Triumph. You will be the fourth owner (theoretically, the third because I haven't put her on the road) of this LBC after counting my stint with it. Although insured (will cancel at auctions end), I never did get the chance to put plates on the car yet, and have the open title and original paperwork in hand from the PO to give the new owner once payment goes through my bank to acquire the lien release I have on the car. This formality should only take an additional day or two to clear up once sold. That being said, it is in fantastic mechanical shape without any issues to speak of aside from a few very minor fixes. The interior is in great shape and clean. Has tan leather seats with the triumph wreath logo embossed on them. The wooden dash is in good shape, but show some slight warping/cracking due to age. These are a cinch to swap out. Although working, the parking brake "idiot light" has gone out. Has thatched floor mats on top of standard carpet which is also in great shape. This is the one real issue - The "tenths" on the odometer seem to be moving super-quick, and the lowdown I got from the PO was that it had something to do with the speedometer cable, although once acquired a good friend who is well educated on the topic said It could be due to an upgraded camshaft from the PO. That I cannot confirm at this time - but it is mighty peppy. Also has a fully electronic ignition, with a crane cams piece installed. No troublesome points and condenser. Has Pioneer cd player, which sounds great. Comes with some extra fuses as well. Convertible top is in great shape with no tears or fading of the rear plastic. The trunk has the original unused spare tire with cover. The PO said the true mileage is actually 66,000, and As mentioned before, shows 88,000 however. PO put in a new rack/pinion for steering and swapped out for a new alternator. Tires are high-quality and have a lot of tread left. You may see my asking price and balk, but please know two things - 1) the car is in fantastic shape, very close to being show ready, and 2) the car comes with many, many extras. The extras include - an overdrive transmission (already a $1,500 and hard to find item, with stick shift engagement and drive shaft), an extra exhaust header, a tonneau cover (for those hot days with case), high quality tan triumph seat covers (A close to $200 value- these are available through Moss and Vicky Brit to see the cost), original carburetter (zenith-Stromberg) and intake manifold, new clutch and more. IF the auction goes above $6,800 I will throw in over $400 worth of hard-to-find books on the Spitfire (Kaz Kastners books, books on the weber and lucas electronics), including about a dozen English-printed Triumph Magazines, but I may elect to sell separately or not include if the auction does not go that high. Do message me if interested. A picture of the literature is in the auction here.As said earlier, the car is in fine mechanical condition. All British cars leak oil from time to time, but this does very little. Exhaust burns clean and clear (no blue smoke whatsoever). Transmission shifts just fine, and comes with upgraded walnut knob I had put on last summer. Original knob will obviously be included. Car also has an Italian-made (not the replica) Weber sidedraft carburetter, which has been a joy in my experience with it. This really pains me to sell, as I had some serious plans for it, but the timing of the work/life balance just isn't right currently. As with anything I sell, I stand by my items and will do my best to answer any questions you have pertaining, and can send more pictures. This is a close to 40 year old car, and have done my very best to represent it for what it is - a great classic car in even better shape for its age. As such, I make no warrantees. You are responsible for shipping and or pickup, but I will try my best to help the buyer. Please do not be shy in contacting me for help or any questioning. I will provide my phone # if need be, and will make myself available any way I can. Please note the car is also for sale locally, and will end the auction if need be.

1974 Spitfire - Great Project for someone with the time. Nice condition, engine is there, but needs to be put in the body of the car. Just never had the time. Was garaged for 10 years, but just lost our storage. Looking to sell it to a motivated buyer for a fair price. Buyer will need to transport the vehicle after sale. Please feel free to ask questions - all sales final. Only serious buyers, please.

Triumph TR-8. Eight cylinder, dual carburetor. 29,000 original miles. (Mechanical fuel injection was only on California cars.) The car does not have AC. All original. Car runs very well and strong. Never been out in snow or salt; spring/summer car strictly. You're welcome to take for a drive. Original paint, original trim. British racing green. Zero rust. Car has been maintained since I purchased but mainly sits now. Should go to a good home to an enthusiast who likes to maintain this type of collectible. Has been regularly maintained, Bosch electronics, not Lucas. New tires have about 200 miles on them. I am the second owner and bought the car with 14K miles in 1993. Has chrome luggage rack, new battery, full spare. Car is available on a pick up or drive it away basis only.
