400 ISX AND 53 foot Utility Thermo King refrigerated trailer. Aluminum rims around the tractor, 4 Aluminum and 4 steel wheels on the trailer. Truck has new turbo, new charge air cooler, new steer tires, and new clutch. Head gasket was replaced 3 years ago, or about 300,000 miles ago. Transmission is a 10 speed Eaton Fuller and holds all gears with no slippage, and shifts though all gears smoothly. Transmission and power divider were rebuilt within the last 70,000 miles and run excellent, with no signs of leakage, or any "humming". Radiator replaced in last 2 years. Air conditioning compressor replaced 1 year ago. Air compressor runs strong, and holds pressure well. Oil samples on differentials show no warning signs or major leakage. Oil samples from the engine in the last 6 months show no warning signs of metals, antifreeze, fuel, or other contaminates mixing. Included with the sale are a digital CB radio, Kevin Rutherford's "scan gauges" diagnostic port instant ECM readout display, and JVC XM radio with lifetime subscription to Sirius XM satellite radio, as well as a few sets of tire chains. Tires around the tractor are in excellent shape, with roughly 1/4 inch or more of tread depth all around, with evenly wearing tires. Tractor is a dual bunk sleeper, and has 1,068,000 miles. The trailer that is included with the sale of this tractor, is a 2001 Utility Trailer, with Thermo King whisper edition refer unit. Unit runs excellent, and can reach and maintain negative temperatures without troubles. Trailer may have a minor electrical short drawing on the battery, other than that, it runs fine. Tires are all in DOT compliance and have good life left in them, with the exception of one pair, which is showing some undesirable wear, but are still in DOT compliance. Tractor and trailer are ready for the road, however, the tractor has just been checked by a mechanic and determined one of the cylinders is not compressing properly, in consideration of this, I am reducing the asking price from $20,000. There is a missing side panel on the exterior, but other than that and a few other minor blemishes, the exterior looks to be in decent condition. Tractor is currently using aprox 1 gallon of oil for every 1250 miles or so, which is a little high, however, it does run clean and the engine has run strong, pulls hills well, and has been able to avg close to 6 mpg pretty consistently. I've actually pulled 7.9 mpg to Texas and back with this truck and trailer when I am being really conscientious about how I drive.
