It would be a long journey for the Roberts Family before they would end up at their current location in Columbia, TN. Starting in 1945; Mr. Clyde Roberts began the family business by opening a Mobil Service Station & Garage with his sons Lyndal and Bay on the corner of West Commerce and Third Avenue in Lewisburg, TN (shown below).  Shortly after the opening of the garage, Lyndal left the business to pursue other ventures. Runs & drives 100% Great truck!! Nice 4x4 Tacoma well equipped with automatic transmission and the 3.4L DOHC V6. Timing belt was just replaced along with the fuel injectors, and plugs/wires. It was power windows and locks, as well as cruise control. It also is the TRD Off Road edition with the rear differential locker. The body is good and straight, but isn't perfect. The left front fender has some rough spots (no paint missing, just some bruises), and under the passenger door there are some minor dings. There are a few spots on the body that have been touched up somewhat but overall the truck is an 8.5 out of 10. Definitely mechanically solid! Everything works just as it should. I just had the a/c serviced and it blows ice cold. The heat performs well up to par as all these heaters do. These trucks are definitely known for their solid a/c & heaters. What else? Oh yeah! It has automatic locking hubs so all you have to do is reach down and pull the 4wd selector to High or Low and go anywhere! No need to get out of the truck at all. The tires are brand new. The alloy wheels look good. It has a bed mat in the bed. The bumpers are in great shape. The carpet looks amazing. The seats are free of any rips, stains or tears. The front end is good and tight. It drives straight down the road. You could complain about "high miles", but at the same time it's a Toyota! Anything that will cause you problems with the truck has already been addressed and replaced. All you need to do is get in it and go! Buy with absolute confidence! Not a work truck or weekend off-road toy. Just a So Cal pleasure vehicle with street miles from one owner. Only used 4x4 to get through stormy days with confidence. Dark tinted windows, fast A/C and heater, and pristine music through an Alpine stereo and separate amplifier and MB Quartz component speakers makes driving around town a pleasure. It's easy to get in and out using the chrome nerf bars and once moving the ride is both smooth and surefooted because of the Michelin tires. The 190 HP, 220 ft-lbs of torque from the 3.4L V6 almost feels like brand new and the manual transmission is still easy to shift. Absolutely no oil leaks, vacuum leaks, or buzzing parts in the engine compartment. No shake, rattle, or roll in the cabin. The moon-roof remains leak proof. The cloth bucket seats and dashboard are amazingly perfect. Weekly cleaning has kept the gray interior free from rips, cracks, and rattles, and has kept the white exterior free from major dings and scratches. Sure, there's some tiny door dings and paint chips, and a small dent near the rear bumper but, really nothing unusual given its age. The bed liner is a lifesaver when you need to haul things home from the home improvement, furniture, and warehouse stores. The 2 inch trailer hitch is handy when you need to rack your bikes. Preparation and shipping/pickup is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Pink slip will be signed and delivered upon full payment by cash, cashiers check, or PayPal, and after shipping arrangements have been confirmed.

Been meticulously maintained with all up-to-date service records available to the next owner. OEM timing belt and water pump were replaced last year at 180k (every 90k per owner's manuals). Oil change every 5k with Mobil 1 5W-30 full synthetic and rear differential flushed every 30k miles with Mobil 1 75W-90. Most of the miles are from daily commute OC to LA, highway driving. Exterior and interior are 7.5/10 and shows its age for a 17 years-old truck. The simple but tasteful mods were done for performance as well as aesthetic appeal. The truck has a nice aggressive stance to it, with a mild 2.5" lift in the front and 2" in the rear with the add-a-leaf. The BFG's are in great shape, at least 80-85% tread life (purchased and installed around Feb of 2014). Nothing was done to the engine except for routine maintenance and a K&N air filter. Interior is clean, non-smoker, cold A/C, decent sound from the Pioneer unit. Even with all the positives about the truck, I have to point out a few flaws as well. There's a small tear on driver seat from getting in and out of the truck over the years. And there's a baseball size dent on the passenger bedside, under the tail light near the rear bumper. Not the end of the world, but I just wanted to point out the small cosmetic issues.
