I've put several thousand dollars into it with aftermarket parts. Unfortunately, I didn't plan ahead and now I've decided to buy a boat that I can't pull with this truck. I love it and hate to let it go. Toyota Tacomas are the best performing trucks on the road and they are in high demand. You will have a difficult time finding a used Tacoma in better condition than this. It has not been used off-road and but with the combination of 4-wheel drive and the lift/tire setup, its more than capable. Unless you are pulling very heavy loads consistently, the 4 cylinder is a nice feature because it still has plenty of power but allows you to achieve better mpg.
