Starting in 1945; Mr. Clyde Roberts began the family business by opening a Mobil Service Station & Garage with his sons Lyndal and Bay on the corner of West Commerce and Third Avenue in Lewisburg, TN (shown below).  Shortly after the opening of the garage, Lyndal left the business to pursue other ventures. During the years of 1950-1955 the Roberts father-son team along with Stanley Thompson formed a used car business next to the old Baxter Garage on First Avenue in Lewisburg, TN. In 1956, after  Mr. Clyde's retirement, Bay Roberts formed the Roberts Motor Company out of a building at 2nd Avenue also in Lewisburg, TN (shown below).  The Roberts family, however, was not meant to stay in this location for long. Just three years after moving to 2nd Avenue, the Roberts family moved their business to 920 Verona Avenue (shown below). AFTER 2014 THEY DONT MAKE THE SINGLE CAB NO MORE. MY TOYOTA HAS BEEN WELL TAKEN CARE OF, DEALER SERVICED 2 OWNER IN WHICH MY AUNT AND UNCLE WERE THE FIRST OWNER OF THE TRUCK. SO WITH THAT SAID ITS A ONE FAMILY OWNED TRUCK. TRUCK HAS 77,000 MILES, 5-SPEED, SLIDING REAR WINDOW, TRACTION CONTROL, COLD AIR CONDITIONING, MANUAL WINDOWS, AND A BEDLINER.
