By declaring a car "Total Loss” Insurance Company is taking themselves out of any liability issues in the future. Does that means the car is totaled, not always. Sometimes the car has minor damage but the parts are very expensive. Sometimes the owner does not want to get the vehicle repaired and depending on the Insurance Company and the year of the car, Insurance will pay off the owner. If the car gets stolen then Insurance has thirty days to recover the vehicle, if the car is not recovered in thirty days, Insurance pays off the owner and once the car is recovered, it is brought to the auction as a Total Loss vehicle even if it did not have any damage on it. The Sequoia is in mint condition inside and out and it drives like a dream with a lot of power and very nimble handling for a large vehicle. It has an extended bumper to bumper warranty that expires on 10/4/2017, or 125,000 miles. I don't know if it is transferable, but I'm looking into that for the new owner. We've never had a need to use it, though. This SUV runs perfect and it's never had any repairs. It has always been maintained by the dealer with synthentic fluids. It was serviced last month and needs absolutley nothing. They did a 110 point inspection to prepare it for this sale. It has new Michelin tires with less than 10K on them that were just balanced and rotated. This is a turn key purchase that you can drive anywhere. Platinum Sequoias have all the bells and whistles - It's practically a spaceship. The interior and exterior are flawless.
