2005 Toyota Sequoia Limited 4x4, 4.7L V8 - 96K miles (send me your email address and I will send you the clean Carfax report) Price: $13,800 - I ran a search on Autotrader and Cars .com for "2005 Sequoia, Limited, under 100K miles, 4WD" and the range for sale was 13.9K-$23K, so I priced mine the cheapest in the country for a no haggle quick sale. Fully loaded Limited model - w/ spacious third row, premium JBL sound, tow package, moonroof, power doors/locks, power seats, power rear hatch window, roof rack, fog lights etc. Silver Metallic with grey leather interior - 96K miles (under 10K/year) Clean title, non-smoker, no accidents. Purchased certified in 2008 with about 55K miles from the Toyota dealer. Located in Royersford, PA (about 30 miles west of Philly) Background Adult owned and garaged. A Toyota tech told me the 2005-2007 model years are the best years for the Sequoia ever made and the V8 motor these years are hailed as the most reliable motor ever made by any car company. The 2005 model year was the updated facelift year. "A new engine equipped with VVT-i was new for 2005, as well as a 5-speed automatic transmission, replacing the previous 4-speed. 4-wheel drive models got a Torsen center differential, replacing the previous open differential, that splits power in full-time mode 40% front and 60% rear under normal driving, and can send up to 53% to the front and 71% to the rear during slip. The grill was redesigned, and the orange lamps were removed from the taillights" (stole that quote from Wikipedia). Also, nominated North American Truck of the Year by Autoweek. Overall Condition Brand new PA inspection state inspection just completed weeks ago in preparation for the sale of the truck. Prior inspection new rear tires and new rear brakes were done so they have almost zero use on them. Needs nothing and can be driven across the country tomorrow. A more complete list of recent repairs is shown below. A/C blows cold. There is no check engine light lit and no leaks of any fluids. All power windows/locks, instruments on dash, lights etc work fine. The truck needs nothing mechanically and is very nice looking cosmetically. Mechanical Toyota's 4.7-liter V-8 produces 282 hp and 325 pounds-feet of torque with a five-speed-automatic transmission. The V-8 uses Toyota's variable valve timing with intelligence system (iFORCE). An engine that knows when you're towing. Brakes that know what you're hauling. iFORCE knows more than you think: Sequoia's load-sensing proportioning and bypass valve weighs what you're towing and, if needed, sends more braking power to the rear wheels. And when pulling a heavy load (up to 6,500 lbs.), the intake manifold creates low-end torque for efficient towing. Below is recent work done: Work done in past year Front lower and upper ball joints - $675 New rear tires - $350 New rear brakes - $325 Alignment (4-wheel) - $120 Alternator and battery - $250 Air conditioning test and charge (ice cold, no leaks) - $150 New OEM Sequoia floor mats from dealer- $150 Oil changed every 5K miles with 5w-30 synthetic (just done at inspection) Exterior Straight as an arrow on every panel. The paint on the body is original and still has a rich shine to it. The truck received a professional detail before and after every winter to keep the paint nice. There are a couple spots touched up on the rear plastic bumper and minor light scratches that can be seen close up under direct sunlight (normal wear). The Sequoia rides on a 118.1-inch wheelbase and measures 203.9 inches long overall, that's more than 11 inches longer than the Land Cruiser. Toyota shortened the Tundra's wheelbase for use in the Sequoia, which is 78.9 inches wide. The full-size Sequoia has four side doors and a rear liftgate with a fully retracting power window. The four-wheel-drive Limited has 10.6 inches of ground clearance, which is more than most in its class. Toyota claims the Sequoia offers more cargo capacity than the Ford Expedition. Interior The interior of the truck looks clean with no tears or stains and has been well kept. I recently replaced the floor mats to try to keep the "new" feeling. Everything in the interior is OEM stock. There are no cracks in any plastic pieces. There is a 1-inch split in the seam on the side of the drivers seat from getting in and out. The car comes with the OEM key fob (w/buttons), spare key, full-size spare tire, owner's manual, etc. This Limited model adds standard leather upholstery, heated front seats, rear air climate control system, and a 10-speaker JBL stereo. Cargo volume is 128.1 cubic feet with all of the seats folded or 36.2 cubic feet behind the third row. A dashboard control on 4x4 models permits switching into or out of 4WD High while under way. All descriptions are strictly my opinion based on the year and mileage of the vehicle and in no way a brand new vehicle. Come take a look a see for yourself if you have reservations about it. Here is a great chance to make a really great deal. When I spend the extra money and time to list a car here on Ebay, it has to be something special. Not unlike the old Mercedes I have up for auction this week. But this Sequoia is a special unit too. 1st let me say I have driven this wonderful Sequoia over 3,000 miles. I always buy a nice SUV in the summer to tow the fishing boat and the bike trailer. After 90 days, they have to find a new home. I put this Sequoia through it's paces and it past every test I gave it. I put it to good use so I can tell you without any hesitation, that this unit is in Superior condition. It hits the road smoothly and quietly. The engine runs like a Swiss watch. All the buttons and controls work including FRONT AND REAR AIR CONDITIONING. I see these Sequoias at the auto auctions every week with over 200,000 miles looking like they are ready for more. The dealer's love these units because they not only sell well here at home, but the dealers overseas love them as well. Many are sent to desert countries, as well as snow countries. WHY? Obviously because they are really good vehicles. It's not rocket science, they are highly rated on all the rating sites. They have massive repeat business appeal. There isn't a soccer Mom out there that wouldn't love one of these. Take the whole team and gear! After 15 years of selling on Ebay, positive feedback comments by the people who have bought cars from me will prove that I describe my cars fairly and accurately. I could go on all night touting the attributes of this Sequoia, but I always note any bad points as I know them. The paint really is still beautiful as the pictures will attest, but there are fine scratches that the camera doesn't pick up. A few touch ups on the right front wheel well, some fine scratches on the bumper covers. It is impossible to describe every little scratch or flaw, as it is impossible to describe every good point of a vehicle. I ALWAYS tell my customers everything I know about the vehicles I sell. Not in the picture where there is a wear mark on the vinyl on the driver's seat edge. A little vinyl repair would be in order. There are two surface rust repairs to the inner rear wheel well were they all go. All cars have some sort of common flaws. This one is common to just about every Sequoia I've seen. The rear wheel wells must be hosed off once in a while to keep the dirt out of the corners. That's where the dirt holds moisture and can cause rust. That goes for just about any truck or Suv on the market. one of those spots that collects water and dirt. Every Sequoia I see has the same issue. The owner took care of the repair and it looks like it should never progress. Here is the story as to why this vehicle is priced right. In November of 2008, 57,000 miles ago, another car scratched and dented the right side. This is noted in the Carfax. See the close up picture with the information. Carfax also noted THERE WAS NO STRUCTUAL DAMAGE! I put the paint meter on this unit and found how little the dent was and what was painted. If I didn't tell you this, I guarantee you would not have found an issue. I personally checked the welds and vin numbers all over this vehicle. It was a scratch and dent nothing more. The right rear tire and plastic wheel lip moldings were replaced. The side airbag popped and was replaced. That of course, was a factor in why I bought this Sequoia at a good price from Washington Toyota were it was traded. I wish Carfax would go into greater detail so you don't think there was more damage than there was. I really feel this is one the best vehicles I could sell you. Use it for many years and put 150,000 miles on it. You will be very surprised to see how much money you get back when you are done with it. It really is highly proven in all conditions, high resale value, excellent road manners with the addition of great ride, comfort and SAFTEY!
