Since 1987 I have continuously owned a 1986 Toyota MR2. This is the third one. The first one was lost by collision with 160,000 miles on it. The second one I sold on eBay with 308,000 miles on it when I bought this one. Because I needed a larger vehicle for work, this MR2 was my second car and as such it was only driven during the summer and garaged during the winter, with only about 2,000 miles being driven each year. The car drives very well and puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. There are a few things that don't work on this car that I have found also failed on the MR2s that I had previously owned. The parking brake cables are seized, and the Air Conditioning does not work. The radio will lose power intermittently and when it happens all memory presets are lost. A few years ago the car was backed into from a parking space. The damage was at the right side rear wheel well, which was a bit rusty at the time. When it went to the body shop for repair I had both sides repaired with steel replacing the rusted area. There is a very small area of rust showing on each side of the vehicle. The front and rear bumpers have been more recently repainted and their color is a bit more vivid than the rest of the car. The drivers side power window jerks while moving up or down. It has been like that since I bought the car and has never failed to work. HKS exhaust is installed and sounds great. Genuine Toyota leather key fob bought at a Toyota dealer in the 1980's is included. The original leather wrapped gear shift lever is also included, but in hot weather adhesive oozes from the top of it. This is a great fun sports car. Put the windows down, pop the sunroof, and enjoy the drive.

This 1993 MR2 is a great and fun car to drive. This car has been driven in the summer since I have owned it. We've been taking it to car shows there aren't many left with low miles and are still OEM in nature. The timing belt was changed at 110k miles. It has a new Napa belt assembly that goes with the car all new stuff I have will go with the car. We've put less than 1600 miles on the car. The body is good, no rust it was painted the way I liked it. I need the parking space and will miss the car. I've have had no problems with the car. You just get in it and go no problems. The car has big brakes and thick side wall Kumo tires new. This car is a non Turbo.

I purchased the car a couple of years ago. I am the third owner. It is original except for the radio and the wheels. Changed oil every 3k Tranny shifts perfectly, no grinding. Starts up everytime. A/C nice n cold. Everything works as it should. The car does look nice but the paint is not perfect. On one side it looks to me like it had been repainted in one area, back when it was new. I bought it from the second owner and he did not know of any damage to the car or any paint. He bought it from the original owner who was a doctor, and it has always been garaged. I could not find any body work or any damage to the car. The car has absolutely no rust!! I only drive it when its nice. The T tops do not leak. There are no oil leaks. I have the manual for the car, lots of other paperwork, including the original build sheet. Also have a few spare parts. I am including the extra set of wheels and the new tires. This is a 25 year old car but for it`s age … can`t beat it. Turns heads everywhere she goes My price is very firm and no trading don`t need anything!! Reason for selling the car is its just too small for me and it hurts my back getting in and out. Contact us at 888-811-2487 with any problems so we can help! 1991 Red Toyota MR2 Turbo 73.5k original miles - Very Clean VIN is: jt2sw22n1m0021966 MANY PICTURES BELOW DESCRIPTION! ’91 Toyota MR2 Turbo, 73500 original, documented miles, for sale by owner (I am in electronics trade and not a car dealer). Two previous, adult owners, before I bought this car couple of years ago, because I always wanted to own original, red MR2 Turbo. 100% original paint on all body parts, all VIN number stickers on body panels are present and matching. I chose not to repair few body blemishes, to keep original paint. This is fully loaded version, with leather, T-Tops, power steering, ABS and stock CD/Tape player. Besides new rims and tires (pictured), car is 100%, unmodified stock, including all turbo parts. Factory 14”rims + lug bolts are included with sale, however one rim has some curb damage (see pictures). Currently car runs perfectly and ready for daily use, I rarely get to take it out and mostly find myself driving my versatile F-150. Engine in this car is in excellent shape, it has no leaks and does not smoke (even when first started). Turbo spools normally, boost gage goes all the way up at a higher throttle. Clutch grabs at the bottom and feels very good. All synchronizers are solid and do not grind. Car feels and handles excellent, brakes are great and pulsation free. There is absolutely no body rust and the only corrosion residue present on some hardware and cast iron suspension parts. I was told that second gen. MR2’s were galvanized, perhaps this is what kept this car so solid. Here is quick video of the car: https://youtu.be/cVkIiUGotts T-Tops DO NOT LEAK, absolutely no leaks in the rain, however if I take it through touch free, high pressure wash, there are two minor drips coming between each door glass and upper rubber seal. Nothing leaks in the rain. Now I will state some facts and provide high resolution pictures, so I do not leave anything to your imagination. New parts and recent maintenance: - All brake rotors + pads - “Drag” brand, 17” rims + Continental tires + wheel alignment, recently done at local shop, receipts included. - Parking brake cables, those are hard to find anymore - Shifter cable bushings - Fuel filter, air cleaner, oil filter, engine and gear oil (Amsoil 10w40 and 75w90), spark plugs, wires, distributor cap + rotor - battery, A/C and alternator belts, timing belt checked and seems to be fresh, A/C converted to R134 and works. I have no information on t-belt replacement and go off the look of the current one. - Windshield wipers, also hard to find correct type. Now about imperfections, she is 24 years old, after all: - One 1/8” round dimple above right rear wheel, touched up. - Some mild dents on the roof (see pictures), not noticeable from few feet away. I was told that those are repairable by dent repair service, without paint. - T-Top shades are missing, eBay has those for around $150. T-Top bags are also gone with the previous owner. - Original doughnut spare wheel is replaced with one of the original 14” wheels, it fits perfect and provides better safety. I do not have the original spare. - Power antenna is intact, but does not work. I have spare aftermarket unit that I can include with sale. - There are some tiny bumps in the fiberglass material on the rear wing corners, wing itself is perfect. I have seen those on other cars, developing over time. - Driver door speaker does not work, I just noticed it. - There is small dent on the bottom of the muffler (see picture), it is not noticeable and does not affect functionality. - Paint is showing some minor fading and few minor scratches, driver mirror has some clear coat peeling off. - Interior is in great shape, however floor mats are not original, but high quality and fit very well. This 1988 Toyota MR2 - Well Maintained - Car Alarm -Custom Rims - I have Original Car Rims -Drives Like New - 2nd Owner - In a like New Condition with a clean car fax and clear title.
