You are looking at a very clean FJ60. I bought the truck about 1 year ago, since owning it i have replace all need parts with factory parts. In addition i rebuilt the front axle, installed a new H55 5 speed transmission, with new clutch. Replaced all hoses and engine gaskets. Fixed the oil galley plug. 1965 FJ40 with very rare original 3 spd and 4WD lever on the floor. New clutch and pressure plate,rear main seal,pan gasket,head gasket,rebuilt carb,plugs,wires,recore rad. All lights and gauges work and wipers. Paint is original except for passenger side rear fender which had some body work done which was not very good but very minor for this 49 year old gem. Tires are like brand new. The radio is not factory but very old. I have paper work dating back to the 80's from a previous owner. I do have a clear title in my name. This FJ40 is turn key and drives very nice. Their is no rust except what you see in that one picture. Also you will see there is no hole in the dash for a 4WD lever that was standard on almost all FJ40's that came to the States. This one slipped through or was ordered special. Also the gearing seems to be more freeway friendly at higher speeds. The carburetor is a rochester and dates back to the 60's. This is a very awesome 1965 FJ40 that worked its way into Califonia in the early 70's. Look at all the picture's . I installed the original shift boot into a factor cut hole in the hump cover. Someone had screwed a non factory one their with sheet metal screws. I disgarded that and put the OEM one in. I have the original owners manual and it does show a floor shift as and option back in the day. This is and as is sale with no waranties.
