With only 2,100 miles on a new transmission, which is still under warranty 12 months 12000 miles, it's a great car. It has a new muffler, new back brakes, new alternator, great tires and only 3 little specs of rust by the wiper blades (see photo) and a crimp in front tow hook bumper (see photo). I have every maintenance record as well as the other 2 head rests that are not shown in photos. It is smoke free, pet free, with a very clean head liner, grey sheep skin bucket seat covers in front and a protective durable matt in back. AC blows cold, heater blows hot, CD/radio after market and comes with installed tow pkg and a hefty durable removable hitch. It's a great car! I have had it for a long time and love it dearly. Am a professional polo photographer and found it perfect for camping, storing my gear, shooting photos from inside in the back while it rained outside, and moving my stuff when it was time to pack up and follow the high goal polo circuit. It has a ton of room and I love the tinted windows, so easy to see out on sunny days while keeping the interior cool. I don't need to tell you this but, they don't make these anymore and if you have always wanted one, now is the time. This car is a classic with fewer and fewer remaining road worthy. Classic FJ40 1974. Good: Has 3 speed, 6 cylinder (1973 F engine).. Runs good. No leaks. Brand new "Hell for Stout" 4 inch complete lift kit with greasable shackles and spring pins. The suspensions are made exclusively for FJ40's. Just google and see how nice they are. New 33 inch mud tires. New voltage regulator. Painless wiring kit. Seats, dash pads recovered. Full hard top intact (windows good) with ambulance doors. New bikini top. New brake calipers and some new lines. I have steel braided extension lines for front and rear that need to be installed. May or may not be completed by the time I sell. 10,000 lb winch.Bad: Brake master cylinder sucking air. needs replaced or rebuilt. Pedal is soft and must pump.Tub is in bad shape. It has temporarily been wrapped in sheet metal but looks pretty good to me. Ambulance doors have typical rust at bottom. Top is from a 1975. Seats are just tack welded and need to be mounted correctly. Parking brake is disconnected. Steering has some play but can probably be adjusted some. I had to cut off suspension off (41 years of rusted bolts) Set screws on spring pins head broke off and need to be drilled out to put in new screws. (The new pin is installed with the big nut. Those of you who know about the FJ's should know what I mean. Nothing bad, Just haven't had time to work on it.Hate to let this go but I have absolutely no more time to work on it. FJ is located at my dad's house. I just moved to an HOA neighborhood and don't have room for it. I drove it to my dad's from my old house (about 7 miles) but very carefully while pumping brakes. There is a field and room to test drive their but I recommend towing.I may or may not have brakes fixed but like I said I just moved and have way too much to do. With a camper and a boat I decided this doesn't benefit my 4 children so letting it go. SERIOUS buyers only. This is not a NEW FJ. 41 years old . Take a look at pics and call or text me.

Selling my 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 It's a good 'ole rig, driven daily and taken care of mechanically These are bare bones SUV's, perfect for offroad fun and rugged trails but very capable and reliable for daily use. This vehicle was involved in an incident years back that resulted in the drivers quarter panel damage shown in the photos which resulted in the insurance company declaring it a TOTAL LOSS CLAIM of course based on the age and mileage of the vehicle. Little do insurance companies know that these vehicles will take a bump and keep on going and have a cult like following so their values are high. It's been driven daily since without fail due to the damage incurred [the tailight and tailgate were replaced for functionality purposes of course]. That said, the damage is there and noted in the history but can be repaired or just drive on :) A replacement rear quarter panel would be the best way to go for repair...... available right here on eBay and a fairly easy cut out and weld in job for the novice. The body has been bumped and bruised here and there and even some rust popping through during it's life, as to be expected but the areas were taken care of as best as possible then resprayed accordingly so it's does not have an even color match [i.e; it has scars which equals character :) ] The rusted areas [rear quarter wheel opening areas ~ where they all rust at least a little] that were repaired years ago are showing need for repair again and repainted of course but it all depends how far the next owner wants to take the 'restoration'. The wheels are the original chrome and the tires are still real decent and all 5 [counting the spare] match. The interior is pretty good with the drivers seat showing the most wear/tear. The dash, headlining, door panels, etc... are all what I consider to be in great condition. The drivers side rear inner interior quarter panels were removed to gain access the the damaged area but are included. It does have a nice upgraded CD stereo system installed as well. The engine was replaced about 4-5 years ago with a rebuilt unit from a reputable local shop and starts, runs and operates great. I believe the carburetor was replaced with a rebuilt or new unit as well and numerous routine maintenance items have been replaced or refurbished through the years w/ receipts to pass NC inspection requirements. All mechanicals operate great and it is a very dependable daily driver. The 4X4 works great as well and has been serviced and maintained along with the rest of the mechanicals and used regularly. It is quipped with the hard to find safari roof rack, frame mounted front brush guard w/ winch mount, rear class III hitch and an OME ~ Old Man Emu lift kit w/ receipts...... To wrap up....... this is a hard to find vehicle that has been taken care of mechanically for reliability, offered in a price range not found often. I've owned many FJ40's, FJ55's, etc... and love this FJ60 but life changes, moving, etc... make this sale necessary. I have 2 FJ55's I hope to list soon as well but they have been sitting a while and will require some effort before listing ~ just an FYI for those FJ55 enthusiasts to watch my listings in the future. Traded in by elderly gentleman at Dub Richardson Toyota, Oklahoma City in 2010. ODO then was 7194, now 8210. I cant say enough good about this FJ- its one of the nicest I've ever seen and if the mileage was actual at 8210 it would be totally believable. It has been professionally painted in a dark BLK/green. The mechanics are perfect, gears click like brand new. There are no scratches or brush marks on the undercarriage. The metal under all the black mats in the vehicle looks brand new, I have pulled up the mat in one of the photos showing the interior drain hole which shows no sign of water ever being in the interior.Tires are 5 matching radials with new Wheels(rims). It has a pioneer stereo system. A local Toyota Dealer agrees that it is without doubt one of the nicest to be on the market lately. I will be happy to answer any further questions.
