I am selling my beloved 1997 Toyota Landcruiser. This vehicle is very clean inside and out (see photos) and is a great example of the finest vehicle Toyota ever produced. I bought this Landcruiser 3 years ago with the intention of lifting it and eventually using it off-road, but never got around to it due to kids, etc. I purchased the vehicle with about 175,000 miles on it from a guy from Colorado who used it as a daily driver. According to the previous owner (and the CarFax) it was originally a Texas truck and belonged to a guy who used it as a family-hauler, and never used it off-road. When I bought it, it needed some TLC (which I gave it) and while detailing it I found a bunch of kids toys and candy under the seats, so the story matches up pretty well. Since I bought it, the following parts have been replaced by a local mechanic: -New radiator and hoses. -New spark plugs, spark plug wires and distributor cap. -New windshield. -New O2 sensors. -New oil pump, cover/seals. -New power steering pump. -New brakes/rotors/calipers. -New PCV valve. -Transmission flush. -Front/rear differential oil changed. -Transfer case oil changed. -Battery. -Front/rear bumper and fender flares professionally painted due to rock chips. This vehicle is built like a tank, starts every time and runs like a train. You would be hard-pressed to find a cleaner original Landcruiser than this that hasn't had a full restore and would cost much, much more. NO rust, NO real scratches other than a few very small rock chips, NO dents. The only "negatives" about this truck are as follows: -A rock chip on the front bumper about the size of a pencil eraser. -The front driver's seat is worn out on the left edge (see photo). -Radio antenna doesn't go up and down--although the motor works and the radio still gets channels. -Steering wheel leather looks worn, but I have a steering wheel cover on it. -Burns some oil (about 1 qt every 800-1000 miles). -No third row seats (never got them from previous owner). -No lockers. I have the original running boards and mounting hardware if interested. It should be noted that the tires in the photos are not the tires on it now. I recently put them on my 4-runner. The Landcruiser has Firestone Destination LE's on it now. They have about 20,000 miles left on them. Serious buyers only please. This is not a vehicle for which Blue Book applies. Anyone who is seriously looking for an 80's series Landcruiser will understand this. Thank you for looking!
