1989 Fj62 original paint, engine, rebuilt transmission. Runs and drives well. 4wd works well. Truck from South Carolina, purchased 3 years ago. Very clean inside and out. Very well maintained interior, besides a minor tear in the driver's seat. The truck is smoke-free. I recently purchased a new pickup truck and not driving this Land Cruiser, so I do not want it to sit idle. I did the breaks at 211,000 miles, so they work great. The oil has been changed every 3,000 miles. Recently serviced for safety at 229,000 miles. I have never abused this vehicle or taken it off-roading. Have a number of its service records on hand. There are 2 minor rust spots, 1 under driver air intake, and 1 under the rear window. The driver's door handle is loose. Tires will need to be replaced in 5-7000 miles. I purchased a Hannibal Safari Roof Tent, and it is included with the vehicle upon purchase, it works perfectly, fits 2 people comfortably, and it's great to bring on outdoors trips. I have owned several land cruisers, including an Fj40 and 2 Fj80's, but this has been my favorite cruiser by far, it is always a pleasure to drive, and always receives many compliments.I will make the truck available for your inspection, and will attempt to help with shipping. Incredibly well restored rust free 1981 Arizona BJ40 4 speed diesel with custom turbo. Over $88k invested. Engine fully restored 300 miles ago. Frame off complete restoration, Icon look alike at 1/4 the price. Brand new interior seats, brand new gas tank, air conditioning, new radiator, new tires, new Icon like wheels. Interior and exterior body removed and body replaced with alloy panels, then coated with Rhino Skin paint both inside and out so it can NEVER rust. Full removable top painted with Rhino Skin as well, with all new glass windows. Steering box completely rebuilt, body lifted about 3 inches, with Old Man Emu suspension. Custom swing out tailgate with monster jack and full spare tire. Top with ambulance doors and brand new half doors included, as well as fold down tailgate. Completely waterproof, even if left out in the rain or run on a beach, which it never has been. Even though it is a 1981, it is titled at a 1971 for California smog purposes. Very fast, very comfortable, does 80 mph with no problem. Interior is perfect. Brand new rollbars with padded covers.
