BEST OFFER - Documented Since New - Originally from California and Arizona NO RUST and in Original Condition! How many FJ40's have original documentation? Orignal Paint and no modifications! No bondo no rust repair - amazing! For you restoration experts out there - you have original paint original body panels with no accidents frame is straight as an arrow. Perfect for a tier one restoration. Up for your consideration is a 1975 Toyota FJ40 - bought 2 years ago from Arizona - Why Arizona? - because in the North East they have rust issues! I searched long and hard for his one! If I can get my price I will sell it. if not, I will hold on to it. It is a dry frame and body with original paint. It needs a restoration but I bought it as it is solid and original. Engine and transmission is fine. It does need a front end. It also needs a complete exhaust from the manifold to the tailpipe. Original engine and transmission - NOT a 350 retrofit like many of them have! Engine was tuned, new water pump, fluids changed and new hydraulic clutch reservoir. New Factory original shock absorbers. Car includes 5 original restored rims (not pictured). Brakes were installed and has many spare parts (NOS) to go with it. Included is a NOS radiator which is still in the box.Interior is good, not perfect; some tares in the front seat - rear seats are original - no aftermarket changes! The top had a sunroof put in which is not original to the car. That can easily be removed and sheet metal welded over.Its a cool truck and these restored are in the 70K+ range. I am open to negotiation, but low ball numbers - don't waste my time or yours.Car needs to be towed, as it has not been started since December. The only ting not original is the radio -This FJ40 is for sale as is / where is with no warranties expressed or implied. I have described this truck to the best of my ability and am confident the new owner will be extremely happy with the condition and its reliability. Also, the car does have warranty options direct through Toyota that will cover the car for 75K Miles and/or 6ys. Currently the car has 20k miles. I originally leased this car brand new in 2013 fully loaded with the TRD wheel package. The car is extremely clean with no issues and was just recently detailed in the past week. The car has only seen street and highway driving, I have never taken the car off-road and I have alwasy put premium gas into the car. This car has been pampered and is ready for an owner who can really take advantage of the offroad qualities this car has to offer. Good luck finding another FJ Cruiser with a TRD wheel package. New FJ Cruisers are not being sold after 2014(there may still be some new 2014 models available).This is the most desirable color FJ ever(In my opinion),seriously though I get a ton of compliments on the color.FJ Cruisers hold the top resale value in the country,there value will only go up since they are not available new in the USA anymore.We recently decided to go in a different direction with are main vehicle so it is with a heavy heart that we must sell our FJ.This has been my favorite vehicle I have ever owned.You really feel like you own the road when you drive the FJ and other drivers seem to give you that respect.As mentioned in the description there is a small imperfection in the rear bumper from someone just kissing my rear bumper one afternoon.You will not regret purchasing this great vehicle.It is phenomenal in the snow(you couldn't get stuck if you tried).I had it out on the beach one time last summer and it handled the sand with ease.Other than being on the beach one time it has never been off road.My wife drives it to work 5 days a week and it has been to Niagra Falls once.The FJ Cruiser is a lot roomier than it looks from the outside,The unique way the rear doors open make it extremely easy getting the kids in and out of the vehicle.Remote start ,tinted windows and upgraded door speakers are the only aftermarket modifications.I have the FJ listed locally so this ad could come down at anytime.We are the original owners. (In the Pictures)Selling vehicle due to no longer using it as my commuter truck to work since I take the train to NYC.Oil change is replaced every 5,000 miles with Mobile 1 Synthetic oil only and oil filter.Installed Viper Remote Start from Best Buy back in December 2014.Vehicle has never been off-road or mistreated in any way.2-3 ft of snow, no problem for FJ Cruiser.
