For sale is my 1993 Toyota Corolla DX. It is in great condition inside and out. A lot of work has been done to it recently. Timing Belt, all the wheel bearings around the car, both front axles, belt, headlamps, interior headliner, front brakes (Akebono pads), front rotors, spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, and some more that I can't think of at the moment. This car is ready to drive and take you anywhere you need to go. There is an aftermarket exhaust system installed and is a low tone, but can be loud. It does not sound like a Honda fart can. Heat and AC both work great!!! The clutch does not slip or chatter. The pedal does grab high, but still engages fine. Included is a new Clutch Kit, Flywheel, Coilovers, Slave Cylinder and some Misc. parts. These are just parts I accumulated from owning the car. There is nothing wrong with the car that I can find. Other then that it consumes about a quart of oil every 1K miles. I will not offer delivery. This is a pick up only listing. You can come take it for test drive if you are in the area. This is a super clean 1983 Toyota Corolla in beautifull condition.This car has approx 63000 original miles. This Corolla is equipped with the 1.6L engine, automatic transmission.The exterior of this Corolla is in excellent condition. The only flaws are some small scratches and nicks/dings. There isn't any body rust and the bumpers are in excellent condition. Paint has been retouched in certain areas (done before i owned). All exterior trim and moldings on this car are intact, tight and in excellent condition. There aren't any cracks or damage on any of the exterior lights or lenses.The interior of this Toyota is in outstanding condition. Nothingin the interior is UV damaged. The dash pad, door panels and all of the interiortrim pieces, and the console are in superb condition. All of the seats are in outstanding original condition. The carpeting is super clean and fluffy witout any stains, wear spots or damage at all. Up for sale is a RARE, RESTORED, CLEAN TITLE, REGISTERED AE95 Toyota Corolla DX Alltrac Wagon with Automatic Overdrive Transmission and Air Conditioning. After rebuild, the engine has <2k mi. on it, and the tranny has about 4k mi. on it. This is the even rarer-than-usual 1989 version, which has “Toyota AllTrac” prominently featured on the front grille, whereas the later models replaced it with the generic Toyota Sombrero. This fuel-injected wagon has lived all its life in Reno and Los Angeles, which is why the body is so clean. I purchased this vehicle about 4 years ago in good condition, with only 183k mi on it. But I wanted more than just good, I wanted this vehicle to be purring along another 40 years from now, so the past 4 years have been a labor of love: restoring every area I could in that time. By no means do I expect to make back even a fraction of what I’ve spent in this process, but I do hope the new owner appreciates the time, effort, and $$$ that went into this car. I also hope it goes to a good home. Here’s what I’ve done or had done over the past 4 years, during which time it’s only been driven ~13k mi. (again, <2k on rebuilt engine, ~4k on rebuilt transmission): A. RESTORATION 1. B. VEHICLE ENHANCEMENTS 1. Curtis tow receiver installed (bolts to rear frame)- NEVER used for towing, only to hold a bike rack! 2. Added tranny cooler AND magnefine filter to transmission 3. Added power steering cooler AND magnefine filter to power steering 4. Added custom “Corolla Alltrac” dash mat 5. Added Factory Toyota “Alltrac” emblems to sides of vehicle 6. TO DO As you can see from the list above, the restoration has been pretty comprehensive. However, as with any 26 year old vehicle, there are some little things a “perfectionist” might want to look at, including: - The paint shop couldn’t completely restore the front and rear bumpers due to the flexible nature of the rubber used. If you want them perfect, replacement is your only option. - The paint shop also didn’t want to repaint the black metal trim around the windows; not a biggie, up to you to do so if you want it perfect - The switches that activate the interior lights when the doors are opened need to be replaced - There is a little overspray from the paint job - *I never got around to connecting the oil pressure gauge (part of the 3-gauge pod I added to the center console) and the coolant temp gauge appears to underreport (not optimal sender location) - The “Corolla” and “Alltrac” tags behind the rear hatch glass are faded - Front seatbelts don’t retract very well (all of them do this at this age) so need to pull on them a few times to get them to retract - DS headlight aim is off (headlight assy?), but works fine - The dash lights (that come on when you turn headlights on) recently went out. These had loose contact somewhere behind center bezel before, so should be easily fixable - 2-3 nicks/scratches in paint, with one of them looking like it took out some paint I think it goes without saying that, with a vehicle this old, the onus is on you to come and see it for yourself and drive it, or to get it inspected before purchase, as no warranty will be provided. There are a few scratches on the exterior and a spot of paint peel on bumper but minor and there is some oxidization going on from the driver side back seat to the back trunk.
