Auto restoration shop offers this 1976 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. I bought this FJ40 as a project in Colorado, the previous owner spent thousands in parts and upgrades but fell ill and sold the project to me in boxes. We spent 7 weeks or so putting it back together, buying a load of more parts to complete. This FJ40 has the most desired stock parts and aftermarket upgrades. I will explain in detail below, if you have additional questions please ask. I’ve restored dozens of Land Cruisers from 1st year FJ45 pickups to last year 83 FJ40’s, sold them at all the major auction houses, achieved some of the highest prices. Pictures of 50+ recent Cruiser builds can be seen on my PhotoBucket library. This FJ40 is a turn key vehicle that can be enjoyed now. This is a very nice upper end driver quality FJ40 without the huge price tag of a museum quality FJ40 that will never be driven in a price range most can afford. 1976-83 FJ40’s are the desired and valued years. Click this link for a 7 minute YouTube video of this truck running. https://youtu.be/DQhTqgEYA4Y Click this PhotoBucket link for 54 pictures of this truck. http://s953.photobucket.com/user/fj40man79/library/1976%20FJ40%20FI%20Red MECHANICAL The stock 2F inline 6 motor has been recently rebuilt. Complete fuel injection system from Redline Cruisers in Colorado. Man-A-Fre ceramic coated exhaust header, HEI (electronic) distributor. Toyota power steering, Old Man Emu soft ride suspension lift kit with shocks, steering stabilizer, greasable shackles and pins. 33/12.5/15 GoodYear all/mud terrain tires with 95% tread on aluminum wheels. The 76 FJ40 came with front disc brakes and the fine spline 4.10 axles only produced 76-78. Much stronger than older coarse spline axle years. This FJ40 has been upgraded to rear disc brakes, so we have 4 wheel disc brakes, all new or refurbished with stainless brake lines. We changed out all the fluids to synthetic except for the new motor which has conventional to help proper break-in, everything shifts well and sounds great. I had the drive lines balanced with new tubes. New aftermarket fuel tank (poly, so it will never rust). BODY This FJ40 has a good body, could not find any areas that had serious rot. The truck was painted a couple years ago inside and out. The paint is presentable, what I call a driver quality meaning it looks good, but not taken to the level of a high end hot rod show car job. We wet sanded/polished to get it as nice as possible. We undercoated the chassis with POR-15, a must to prevent rust from starting. The inside of the tub was Linexed a couple years ago. We bought a load of new parts from CCOT, mostly soft and plastic parts to complete the restoration. The glass is good, decent CD player stereo system with 2 speakers. If we started from scratch, with a clean FJ40 and bought all these parts new, the build cost would be several thousands beyond my asking price. The previous owner sold me this project at 40% of his investment, we spent 7 weeks finishing it labor and parts my cost were not that bad. This business model is the only way I can offer this type of vehicle at this price. Very hard to find this type of upgraded FJ40 at a reasonable price. I was so excited to buy and complete this FJ40, I drove 2 days with enclosed trailer to buy it. I have shipping containers full of OE Land Cruiser parts, very easy for me to find missing parts there without having to pay the large cost of individual parts from SOR etc. I also have a Land Cruiser parts store on eBay user name fj40partsource. I have a clean/clear WA state title in my name in hand for this vehicle. I expect full payment within 3 days closed auction, I prefer bank to bank wire, or cashier’s check in the mail with tracking # to my US Bank business account. No deposit required. I will only release the title and vehicle after cleared payment in full. I have a shipping broker whom has shipped dozens of high end vehicles for me in the lower 48, I will put you in contact with him or work with your shipper. I can get this FJ40 to AK or HI via barge from the dock in Tacoma WA, inquire about that, or to another country. I welcome 3rd party inspections during not after the auction at my shop under my supervision. Skip Automotive Appraisals & Pre-Buy Inspections when looking in my local phone book, I own that business. I got bored with building FJ40’s, so I decided to build the best in world 1981 Land Cruiser BJ42 3B Diesel 24 V LHD. This build is almost done (engine still at machine shop waiting for Toyota to finish valve lifters in Japan) Incredible OE build with a small lift and power steering added tan/white. This build has taken almost 2 years with an exploded budget, parts cost almost embarrassing to talk about. I will have it for sale at 75k, which is break even my cost. If you want the best and most rare, this is it. Will be on eBay 1 time when done, no sale will be at a major auction at the end of summer. Landcruiser fj 40 fj-40 fj 45 bj40 bj 40

RE-LISTED DUE TO BUYER CHANGING MIND, HE IS COVERING MY FEES, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE SURE THANKS Auto restoration shop offers this 1965 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45 LV (Left hand drive Van) as a running/driving project vehicle. This LV was found in an Oregon barn, parked since 1996. We brought it back to life, enough to load/unload on a trailer or drive down the street under it’s own power, not good enough for highway travel. These LV’s are extremely rare. Only 500 were imported to the USA from 1963-67. An estimated additional 500 went to other parts of the world. There is a LV registry, 66 of the 500 are accounted for. This LV is not on that list. All Land Cruisers have a cult following, I’ve restored dozens of FJ40’s, achieved some of the highest public auction prices (Mecum Barrett RM etc.) but have only heard of 1 LV at auction. Country singer Alan Jackson sold his at BJ around the $85,000 mark a few years ago. If you want something to restore, and want to be pretty darn sure you won’t see another one at any car show, this may be for you. Click this photobucket link for 77 pictures of this vehicle. http://s953.photobucket.com/user/fj40man79/library/1965%20FJ45%20LV MECHANICAL The original F inline six has been removed and long gone. A chevy small block has been installed. The motor runs fine, no blue smoke or disturbing noises. Block # 8958512 Deck Stamp # E9A27069, head # 8927186. Conflicting info, but looks like a 327 according to most casting books, the heads are the desired units as well. I did my best to copy the numbers correctly. Under the valve cover looks clean. Toyota 3 speed trans/case, stock axles. This LV is so rare, it deserves to be put back to stock, I suggest finding a good F inline six when under restoration, sell this 327. F motors of this era are fairly easy to get. I drove this truck 15 miles, no major complaints, just not tested enough to be driven at distance. BODY Rather than nit-pick an un-restored 50 year old vehicle, please look at the photobucket link with 77 pictures. Pics on my rack with the flash on, and outside. The worst of the rust is behind the front seat. There are some missing door pieces here and there. I don’t have any additional LV parts, everything you see in the pics are included. The stock wheels are still on, need caps (Toyota still sells). Some of the glass is cracked. This is my 2nd FJ45 LV, I’ve come across a couple more in my travels over the years, but they almost never have a title. This LV has a matching VIN tag, frame stamp and title. The title is clean clean signed off not dated or sale priced Oregon issue 1997. Easy to prove it has not changed hands since 97. This LV will only go up in value, with only a handful of that 66 accounted for actually on the road. Many are just frames or junk owned by dreamers, many without title. I have a great shipping broker whom I can pass onto you, or work with your shipper. I require a $1000 non-refundable deposit immediately after auction conclusion via PayPal. (No Exceptions) The rest within 5 days to my US Bank business account, direct transfer, bank to bank wire, check in the mail, or my favorite cash in person. Title and vehicle leave my possession when payment cleared in full. I’m a licensed vintage auto appraiser, I take no offense in you paying someone to inspect this vehicle at my shop, but only during the auction. When you buy on eBay, it is binding, please only make offer if you plan to come through, I will go to extreme lengths to collect.I feel the need to point out, YES.....I know the head light bezel is upside down, incredible how many emails I would get on this add pointing that out. Other vehicles coming to eBay. I’m expanding my restoration business, selling off my personal vehicles. All clean/clear titles in hand. 1981 BJ42 diesel (one of if not the nicest BJ42 in the world) will be done in a month or so $75,000. 1963 Chevy step-side 2wd short box restored $25,000, 1976 Jeep Wagoneer with the 401 nice driver $12,000, 1966 FJ40 entry level $7500, 2010 Ferrari Italia 458 $175,000, 2014 Corvette Stingray Z51 7 speed manual $62,000. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Classic vehicle restoration shop offers this 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. I bought this Cruiser midway through a driver quality restoration, finished it, now for sale as a turn-key daily driving vehicle. I’ve restored dozens of FJ40’s as seen on my PhotoBucket link, achieved some of the highest FJ40 prices at the public auctions (Mecum, Barrett etc). I like to offer them in all price ranges, here is a nice unit built to be used at a price most can afford. This is an original stock type build. 1970 model year are emission exempt in most states including California. Please look at the additional pictures and video on links below. Click this link for 98 pictures of this vehicle, they are out of order so please look at them all. http://s953.photobucket.com/user/fj40man79/library/1981%20BJ42/1970%20Blue%20FJ40%20ID YouTube video link http://youtu.be/ikcuNEd7yBI MECHANICAL The original F motor was rebuilt 4 years ago by Gordon Buckley Automotive. He was the 1st guy to bring FJ40’s to Washington state as a dealer. He passed a couple years ago, I actually bought out his entire shop from his widow. There were incredible hard to find parts in his rafters, a lot of those parts are for sale on my eBay parts page user name fj40partsource. Anyways, none better to rebuild a Toyota motor. Rebuilding an F or 2F costs $3000, so that is a huge plus. The motor is clean inside low miles, sounds and runs perfect. The clutch was replaced at the same time as the motor rebuild. I added a 2F aluminum valve cover to this F motor, I will include the tin F valve cover with the vehicle purchase, I like the looks of the aluminum cover better, also seals better. Rebuilt original carburetor, original components on the rest of the motor. The transmission is a 3 speed on the tree, I do love the nostalgia of shifting that old 3 on the tree. The brakes have been redone, every aspect of this vehicle has been refurbished if needed. I go through these end to end before sale. Most of the truck has been re-wired, new ball joints and boots. New exhaust system, tires are BFG All Terrain 31/10.50/15 on stock wheels and new Toyota caps. 4 of the tires are 90%, the spare has never been driven on. We just reset the odometer today, 3 miles since completion. BODY The original body is in excellent shape, uncut fenders. There was 1 rust spot in the driver floor board, we cut it out and replaced it with a CCOT direct fit floor board. We Linexed the interior tub for rust and heat protection. These really heat up in the summer, the Linex sure helps a lot. I bought it with a middle of the road recent light blue paint. We did a complete undercoat with POR-15 (best stuff out there) a must for any region with salt on the road. We removed the fiberglass top, smoothed out the underside and painted it. I do not like head liners on these trucks, they do not stay up, but you can add one if desired. We media blasted the wheels, seat frames, bumper, bumperettes and a few other pieces and painted them the correct Toyota metallic silver. This is a nice driver quality vehicle as a reasonable price. FJ40’s have been ringing the bell at auction for the past few years, this type of FJ40 will only continue to increase in value. Great investment you can use and enjoy. I’ve gone through everything to ensure a problem free vehicle, but please remember all vintage vehicles need tinkering at times, that is part of the fun. No, I don’t recommend driving any FJ40 across the United States in the winter. I welcome 3rd party inspections during the auction, as a licensed classic vehicle appraiser myself, I don’t take any offense to that. I require a $1000 non-refundable deposit via PayPal directly after auction conclusion, no exceptions. The rest within 5 days. I accept zero excuses for non-payment, this is a binding agreement, I will go to extreme lengths to collect, so please don’t bid if you have any hesitation. I have a clean clear WA state title in hand in my name for this vehicle. Title or vehicle do not leave my possession until full cleared payment. I have a shipping broker whom has shipped dozens of vehicles for me in the lower 48, I can put you in contact with him or work with your shipper. I can get this to Alaska or Hawaii via barge or to most other parts of the world. Vehicles coming to eBay. The nicest Land Cruiser BJ42 diesel out there, will be done in a few weeks, incredible build $75,000, 1966 Toyota FJ40 with PTO winch soft top/doors entry level vehicle $7500, 1963 Chevy step-side short bed restored $25,000, 1953 5 window short bed on another auction right now $4850, 2010 Ferrari Italia 458 $175,000, 2014 Corvette Stingray Z51 7 speed $62,000. I’m expanding my restoration business, need to sell off some of the fleet. Fj 40 landcruiser bj40 fj55 fj-40
