During that time all mechanical and electrical items were serviced, restored or replaced. All buttons, knobs, power windows, etc function perfectly. The upholstery is in good condition. History: Roughly 60 years ago the Land Cruiser was introduced to an eager public looking for a utilitarian vehicle that could handle any challenge thrown its way. Known as one of the most reliable vehicle’s ever built, the Land Cruisers reputation has been cemented in the minds of 4 wheel drive enthusiasts. In 1984 the 60-series was introduced. Offering a more luxurious interior and a more comfortable ride, the 60-series became the catalyst for changing the way drivers thought about 4WD vehicles. A few years later, the FJ62 model was introduced. Distinguishable from the 60 series by its fuel injected 4.0 liter 6-cylinder 3F-EFI engine, automatic transmission, rectangular headlights, larger side view mirrors and power options.
