This Tacoma is a 2006 Double Cab PreRunner model. If you are not familiar with the PreRunner model, it is basically a 2WD that has the raised suspension height and bigger brakes of the 4WD model, but without the 4WD. I actually special ordered this truck when I bought it new and to me, it's the ideal truck to have. I don't ever really feel the need for 4WD, but I like the bigger suspension and brakes, and the 17 inch alloy wheels. This truck has the factory towing package, with the 4.0 liter V6, 5 speed automatic transmission with auxiliary transmission cooler, engine oil cooler and high output alternator. It also has the TRD Sport Package with Bilstein shocks and TRD sport bucket seats, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, cruise control, upgraded JBL stereo with 6 disc cd changer, 4 wheel ABS braking system, tire pressure monitoring system, built in inverter with outlet in the truck bed, heavy duty Toyota logo rubber mat in the bed, etc., etc. The camper shell is one I special ordered from ARE, and it is painted the same color code as the truck. It also has a cloth headliner, hinged opening side windows with sliding windows and screens, and a hinged opening front window that also has a front window that slides open. Basically, I ordered every option I could get on the camper shell and it was over $1500. The shell has a lifetime warranty from ARE. I am the only owner of this truck and I have taken meticulous care of it from day one. It has been parked under a carport, detailed on a regular basis and never abused. The oil has been changed every 5,000 miles with Valvoline full synthetic and a Toyota filter, and other routine maintenance has been done as needed. I cannot imagine you could find another 2006 Tacoma in better condition than this one. This truck has never had any accident damage, no hail damage, etc., and there is no rust anywhere on it. If you have been looking for a really nice one, act quickly because I'm sure this one will go fast! The oil has been recently changed, the battery and front brake pads have just recently been replaced, the tires are almost new and it has just been freshly detailed. I have the original window sticker for the truck, along with the original owner's manuals, 3 keys and 2 key fobs. It runs and drives like brand new. It's rated at 18 mpg city and 22 mpg highway, and that's about what I have always averaged with it. It looks much better in person than it does in the photos. Unfortunately, I don't have a very high quality camera and the photos do not really capture just how fantastic this truck looks.
