Up for sale I have a 2008 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4x4 SUV. The vehicle was purchased for $24,565 by my wife and I in September of 2011 with 27,688 miles on the odometer. It was sold as a "Toyota Certified Used Vehicle" with a clean Carfax by Westbury Toyota of Long Island, NY having had two previous owners. We've accumulated almost 45,000 trouble free miles since that time and have documented every oil (Mobil 1 Full Synthetic) and filter change (Purolator Pure One) while logging nearly every gasoline fill up since purchase. My wife and I are non-smokers and the vehicle is cosmetically in very good condition inside and out. It runs flawlessly and will have a fresh oil filter installed prior to acceptance of the vehicle. Aside from the prescribed oil changes the 4Runner has asked very little from us. The only other maintenance performed was the replacement of the two rear tires and the front wiper blades. On February 11th, of 2012 the vehicle was involved in a minor parking lot incident where it was backed in to. It was reported to our insurance carrier and we were awarded approximately $300 dollars to have the rear bumper realigned, it did not even require paint (I've taken pics of the crash report, we were unit 2). Based on the monetary amount of the damage I do not believe that it ended up on the current Carfax as an accident but I have not confirmed this for myself. I've noted all other discrepancies under the condition report at the top of the page. Also, please be aware that this has been a Northeastern vehicle for most of it's life and as such it does demonstrate surface rust on the undercarriage that would be typical for a vehicle of this year, there is no trace of corrosion on the body. To give you an idea of what I am referring to I have taken pictures of the engine compartment, underside looking forward, and underside looking aft. If you would like to see anything additional let me know and I will do my best to get it done. KBB Private Party value for this condition and mileage is nearly $18,000, I am asking $16,500 obo. The reason we are selling is that we are PCS'ing to Japan and we do not have the capability to ship the vehicle. It has served it's purpose as a safe and reliable vehicle and I would not hesitate to purchase another 4Runner down the road. I have the vehicle listed locally and reserve the right to sell to a local party if the opportunity should arise. Actual mileage may vary slightly as I continue to drive the vehicle to and from work.
