This truck has been a trusty truck. Its a good, solid, used truck that would be a good first truck for someone or the weekend warrior. I would call the truck a good “15 footer”…meaning she looks pretty good from 15 feet away. But there are some blemishes and things that the pictures don’t show real well, I’ll note them. I bought this truck with 260,000 on it to use in the summer for a little lawn mowing business I did (I am a teacher and only ran the truck from May-October, stored it in a barn during the winter). The guy I bought it from was a mason who lived 75 miles from his job in the SouthWest and drove 150 round trip 5 days a week. So it wasn’t subjected to winter salt. When I bought it he had just replaced a lot of front end components (ball joints, etc..). Starts right up, runs solid. I’d trust my kid driving this truck, but since he’s 13, not going to happen! Why selling? Done with mowing, life is too busy. Doesn’t get used. *Please have your mechanic look at this vehicle before purchasing, it is 16 years old!! I am happy to make it available to be checked out prior to sale ending. I have great feedback and would like to keep it that way, do us both a favor and CHECK IT OUT to satisfy yourself (you’ll like it : ) While it has been great for me and I believe it to be a good solid truck (even though I just replaced the radiator), it is still 16 years old! Sold as is, no warranty. I would rate this truck according to Kelley Blue Books ratings as being in “ FAIR” condition . This is the “lowest” conditional rating. The Good:Oversize off road Tires are relatively new, maybe 8k on them. Windows work fine. ECT button toggles between normal/economy and power shift patterns.Differential lockOverdrive Button on shift knobCruise works. Very clean interior for the age. A minor rip starting in the drivers seat, some slight discolorations in the rear carpet (pic with orange dot). 4WD works well and easy.Slight lift to truck Not smoked in. Was a southern car most of its life and NOT driven in winter since I’ve owned it. Bed liner is goodNice Leer cap included. Brand new radiator just put in ($600 repair). Truck is a good driver for age and miles. Body is generally solid, I’ve taken pictures of surface rust on tailgate. Tows like a champ The Bad:Was in a fender bender 3 years ago, I chose not to buy new bumper, driven for 3 years as you see it and it worked fine for me. But bumper is a little wonky and scrunched. Want to replace it? You can find a new one on ebay for cheap like this one . Hood is creased (pictured) from accident.AC needs recharge. The middle caps on the tires on the passenger side are missing. Didn’t bug me, they are cheap and on ebay as well . Rubber seal on leer cap is loose on back (pictured)Passenger side window on leer cap is missing. Seat belts are getting worn, but still functioning fine.Rust on rear bumper at bumper hitch site. The hitch is rusted on. Look at the picture of the open passenger door, there is a piece of trim missing under the mirror controller. The cigarette lighter is MIA sorry smokers, guess you’ll have to vapeThe paint shows it age, not much gloss left anywhere. Decals worn. It had vinyl lettering for my business, you can see it really close up if you’re looking for it. A good buff and wax would take care of that. Will need exhaust work in the next year or so, getting old. Overall this is a really great truck. I’ve bought a few vehicles on ebay and know what I want as a buyer, no surprises.
