I've replaced the engine oil/filter (personally or at a local auto shop) every 3000-5000 miles for the last 10 years that I've owned the car. Was driven in excess of that (8000 miles) on a single oil/filter change on one occasion. Known issues: Engine oil got very low last year (likely burned off as I did not find an oil leak). Oil light never came on. I do not know how long I had driven the car in this state. When I noticed the problem (due to unusual engine noise) and changed the oil, the car seemed to drive fine. That being said, I do not know what kind of condition the engine is in. Engine is loud at speeds below 50mph (new problem in the last 4 months), and the smell of exhaust fumes is noticeable while stopped with the engine running and windows rolled down. My best guess is that the exhaust manifold is leaking (but I'm obviously not sure what the cause is). Check engine light is on, and outside of the vehicle occasionally has a gasoline odor. This is due to a known issue with this car's fuel vapor collection system. Had the vapor canister replaced which solved the problem temporarily and then the same code came back a month later. Other diagnostic codes may be present in addition to this (has not been checked in a while). Multiple nicks, scratches, paint peels on vehicle exterior. Minor dent on the front passenger exterior above the tire. Tiny crack in windshield (2mm, closeup in picture 105412). Rust/corrosion above front/driver side window (picture 105717). Curb rash on all rim caps. Please review the comprehensive pictures provided. Backlights of the AC knobs only intermittently illuminate at night (poor electrical connection somewhere). The push-button lights of the AC knobs (and the AC/heat) work without issue. Passenger door and trunk keyholes tend to stick when used (still functional but annoying). Driver door keyhole totally fine. Center console cupholder rubber drink supports are completely worn away (clearly visible in picture 110150). I've had this car for 3 years, I'm a third owner, never had a mechanical problem. It is comfortable, perky when necessary and reliable. I did all scheduled maintenance. I am on the 2nd set of brakes, 2nd set of tires, and other than that all is original. All tires match and are like new. Vehicle currently has a set of almost brand new (2nd season) winter tires. The engine compartment is clean and free of leaks. The body has minimal signs of wear or visible defects and is free of rust. The interior has minor signs of normal wear.
