1999 Toyota 4Runner, a pretty rare combination of black, SR5 Sport package with hood scoop, 4X4 and 5 speed manual trans. 3.4L V6 engine. Tan cloth interior near mint condition, drivers seat bolster not even torn like most are. Has tinted windows all around and professionally powder coated flat black rims (the factory silver finish was flaking). Almost new BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A tires, excellent condition in and out, all power options, have over $4,635 in receipts for this truck almost all of them in 2014, for tons of engine and suspension parts, labor, exhaust, tires, fluids and filters, and an extensive 6 week rust prevention and restoration in May 2014 that included a couple thousand in new parts. $840 on the tires. A lot of expense was all new brakes, which included new rotors, calipers, and pads up front, and new drums, shoes, and all working internals of the drum brakes (springs, auto adjusters, etc etc) They feel like new and stop the truck on a dime. New clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder. New muffler and tail pipe, timing belt and water pump were done at 150K (I think every 75K is the recommended timing belt change) so itll be due in another 25K miles. Unsure of any recent clutch replacement, but it grabs strong and holds. Wont slip even when I tested it by doing a third gear start (killed it, but thats what youre looking for) Toyotas will run forever you just have to keep them from rusting. This was a Cincinnati truck its whole life so it didnt see quite the harsh winters we have here in N Indiana, so the undercarriage was in pretty good shape to start. I have dozens of pictures of the underside of the truck on picasa, I will include the link below. Truck runs and drives like a top, has 199K mostly highway miles, gets about 18 city 23 highway (manual trans really helps mpg) Optima Gel Cell battery, etc. By far the most reliable, consistent, and dependable vehicle I have ever owned. If I had a wife and kids I would put them in this and send them to California tomorrow. This is not one that'll be in and out of the shop over the next decade or 130K miles. In my opinion Toyota got it right on this body style, the third gen. After this body style they made it bigger and put a V8 in it, and ruined it by making it like every other SUV out there. Clean IN title in my name. Great truck, dont want to sell after so much meticulous work, time, and money but need to sell.
