This was my daily driver for a couple of years and I had some great plans for it but things change. I replaced the original tired 22 RE in 2012 with a 1990 with 90,000 miles on it. I have put approx. 15,000 miles since the engine replacement. The radiator has been redone, front rotors and pads and rear shocks have been replaced along with a few other things. The 5 speed manual trans works well along with the rest of the drive train. AC still worked last time I tried it and it is still the original R12 system( may need recharge by now-R12 still available and colder) Body and paint is original and this truck has been an Arizona vehicle all it's life so no rust. Top has never been removed. Interior is in fair condition but complete and I have replaced the front seats with '95 Camry seats. The Goodyear Wrangler MTRs are getting down there but still usable. Well, here it is, I can't believe that I'm selling her. For sale worldwide to the highest bidder will win this beautiful 1987 Toyota 4-Runner, 100% rust free, in excellent condition, and by far one of the coolest trucks I've ever seen or owned. It is a true head turner. You will not find another one like it. I'm only selling because I have too many vehicles, and need to purchase a safer more practical car for my two 16 year olds, or so my wife says. Now for the options, it has a 22 RE four cylinder 5speed and all the factory options, unfortunately it does not have air conditioning but it has a CD player and upgraded stereo system with amplifier and upgraded speakers, upgraded wheels and tires are new, less than 1,000 miles on them. It has a push guard bumper with two PiAA lights in the front and KC lights on the top. The truck runs very good, transmission shifts smooth, and clutch works perfectly. The top is in excellent condition and does not leak. Please do not hesitate to ask questions. I hate to do this but I just won't have the room in my garage anymore. Only selling for my families sake. Sad day for me but happy day for someone lucky enough to win her.

Please read the whole disclaimer, that said I bought at auction and paid Ca DMV $142 reg and have a red temp tag, it needs at least catalytic to pass smog maybe more... running hot, replaced a couple sensors & thermostat, still hot but engine runs smooth and quiet shifts great. rear power window not working, paint came back after rub & wax, if your from WA or OR no worries on smog. if your looking for an offroad wheeler it's ready for your custom work, the inside is very dirty plastic missing or broke, cowling around steering column missing, seats are ripped & covered, no radio, the drivers window has a problem rolling seems like stripped handle, back seat is great. sometimes you have to push the shifter forward to get it to start 1986 4 runner starts & drives but is running hot, alright if you read to here you'll love this 4runner, I can help with shipping but I'd prefer local I want you to come see this and keep my 100% satisfaction rate. it does not have a ca title yet, I have the temp for dmv and proper sale paper work. bill of sale and transfer. no salvage or rebuild problems, last titled in OR are we clear?? so this is my baby, i'm selling my 1988 Toyota 4runner. rare truck, with the infamous 22re motor that you really can not kill. so the transmission (w56B) has been rebuilt along with the clutch, pressure plate, fly wheel pilot bearing, throw out bearing, slave cylinder and master cylinder with less than 500 miles on it. the motor has just been redone with a gasket kit (head gaskets and stuff) replaced the timing chain cover, timing guides, chain, water pump, radiator, thermostat, oil pump gaskets, stuff of that nature. mods i have done is port and polished cylinder head, polished piston head, ported intake, EGR delete, bigger cam and newer radio. the front shocks have been replaced, muffler and catalytic converter has been gutted. a bunch of other stuff has been replaced just message me if you want to know more. i have two sets of tires for this truck, the original 225s (snow tires) only used for one winter, and a set of 265s with 2 new tires and 2 used. i have all the original interior trim (hardtop trim) and running boards and stuff that came with the truck. it also comes with a free can of bondo!

Sits on Baja MTZ tires. Has a roof rack and a 12000 lbs winch. It runs great with no engine or transmission problems. AC Blows Cold and has a good sound system. Has a swapped engine with 90,000 miles, new timing, new fan and much more. The second 4runner is a 1989 and does not run. I kept this truck for parts. Both are pink title.
