History : The X-90 is based on the two-door Suzuki Sidekick SUV, and shares that vehicle's underpinnings and basic dimensions. Intended to replace the Samurai as a small, sporty off-roader, the X-90 debuted in 1996 following a well-received concept vehicle. Unlike most sport-utility vehicles, the X-90 featured a trunk and two-passenger seating rather than an open cargo area. Removable T-top panels over the front seats provided open-air motoring as well.
