2001 Toyota 4Runner SR5 2001 Toyota 4runner, clean, 129,xxx miles

Background info: I’ve owned this 4Runner since April 2010, it was purchased from Team Toyota in Langhorne, PA. It had a clean Carfax and was a (1) one owner vehicle prior to me (I’m almost positive of this, looking for paperwork now). At that time it had 74,xxx or so miles on it. I’ve owned is since then, with it being my primary vehicle to and from work, which is about 5 miles each way. It’s never been taken off road or abused. The only reason I’m selling it is because I just picked up a 2014 Wrangler Unlimited and want to use the money on upgrades for that. This is the second 4Runner I’ve owned, the prior being a 1999 4Runner Highlander Edition. I owned that one for about (8) eight years, and drove it from 79,xxx miles to 174,xxx. I eventually sold it on Yotatech.com to a gentleman who flew out from Utah and drove it back with a buddy. I listed everything below about the truck you’ll need to know, and I’m probably being too honest about things that are broken. But I’m a believer in karma…plus it’s just the right thing to do. Pros: -Only 129,xxx miles for a (16) sixteen year old truck -Runs/drives great, no mechanical issues/problems -New tires, 265/70R16, in 2014 (only 16,800 miles on them). They were done at Newark Toyota World in Delaware. -Tune up including new plugs, factory Toyota plug wires, etc done at 90,xxx -New battery in 2014 -Rear axle seals done in 2014, done at local mechanic shop -I have service records since new from Toyota, including previous owner. (I don’t have receipts of smaller things like oil changes that were done in my driveway, etc) -New front brakes in Nov. 2014 (I have parts receipt from Toyota) Cons:-I have not done the water pump/timing belt (I never did it with my previous 4Runner and it was fine at 175,xxx miles) -The remote for the keyless entry died on me about 2-3 years ago (I dropped it in a puddle). I never bothered to replace it. The key works the locks and rear window as it should. -The antenna is busted which is common for these trucks and is stuck halfway up/down (see pics) -Rust just finally started showing on the rear bumper about 4-6 months ago -Sounds like a small exhaust leak is starting to form. Not sure if it is the muffler or just one of the connector pipes below. This sound started maybe about 2 months ago. -Toyota techs noticed an oil leak from the rear of the valve covers (I think when they were replacing the tires) and recommended the gaskets be replaced. I researched the issue on Yotatech and other 4Runner forums and found that the nuts on top of the valve covers were just loose. I tightened them down, and have not had an issue since. (Just thought I should mention it, since it’s listed on the service records from Toyota) -The radio backlight does not illuminate. So you can’t see it in the dark, but the numbers, etc are all still there and easily visible with daylight -The interior is in pretty good shape (in my opinion), but I do have little kids who have spilled milk, cookies, crackers, etc in the back seat. Transmission was replaced in 2013. This Jeep has been used around town on a continuous basis, has received regular maintenance and remains in very good condition. Hello All,Up for sale I have my lifted 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport. It has the inline 6 cylinder 4.0L Motor with the 5spd manual transmission. 112K Miles, Cold A/C. Runs and shifts great! 4x4 works great! The jeep has a 2 in suspension lift EMU up front and Bilstien lift in the back with a 1 in body lift. It is sitting on 32x10.5x15 Goodyears Wrangler with Kevlar reinforced Sidewalls. Has all 5 including spare. The Jeep has body armor as well to protect the Underneath. Has aftermarket Panasonic head unit with AUX port and 10In Subwoofer mounted in the center console and Amp mounted under rear seat. The Sound Bar is awesome with the top off. Front rotors are slotted for improved braking. It has the Westin rear tire holder and bumper assembly. Has aftermarket 6in Pocket Style Fender Flares. Comes with soft top in black, has a small tear which has been patched. Also comes with a Smittybuilt cargo net top and Grey hardtop which is on the Jeep currently. Drivers seat has small tear along with Steering Wheel. Paint is in good shape other than a few small scratches and chips.I have a winch which is not together or installed in a box, i believe the only thing missing is the remote and fairlead. The winch is from Smittybuilt. I also have some spare parts, such as brake pads, oil filter, spare door handle and a rear center gasket that goes with the jeep as well. I have a nice lifted jeep floor jack that comes with it too along with a second set of side view mirrors for when the doors are off. Also a hitch mounted cooler holder that I am throwing in. This is a great and reliable Jeep that i am sad to let go. I have changed jobs and need something more economy friendly for long trips.
