2004 Ford Explorer XLT - black, with grey leather interior - 6 cylinder, 2WD - tow kit - privacy glass - running boards.Truck is in good shape - runs great, shifts great - no mechanical trouble at all. All around, a solid, dependable, roomy truck.A little over 188,000 miles. Truck is currently a daily driver, so the mileage may vary.The "Good":* Newer A/T Cooper tires* Newer wheel bearings* Newer rear brakes* Newer battery* Locally rebuilt transmission. Transmissions are this model's achilles heel. This transmission has had the design flaw fixed (servo bores sleeved) and been totally rebuilt with high-end parts, including a shift kit. I can provide documentation for the repair. Most of this generation of Explorers that you'll find have not have not been sleeved even if the transmission has been rebuilt, and all the V6s will require it at some point.* Newer Alpine stereo and speakers - all original locations, and looks stock.* Clear title in hand* Very well maintained.* Solid body - no rust, good paint that shines up well.* Adjustable pedals* Tow package (Class II, 4-pin harness)* Plastic piece on the trunk that breaks on every one of these trucks isn't broken...The "Less-Than-Good":* Minor accident a few years ago - right rear end on the interstate. Liftgate and bumper replaced. Have the estimate and itemized list of what was repaired. No frame damage or alignment issues.* Wheel pressure sensors are acting up - probably have low or dead batteries after 10 years. Warning light on the dash is on sometimes, but pressure is fine, checked weekly.* ABS dash light intermittently comes on - probably the sensor on the differential. Perfectly safe, just a nagging light on the dash sometimes.* Cruise control doesn't work* Minor little things acting up - some bulbs on the code pad out, latch on the center console storage compartment broken (but it stays closed)Car is in Seminole, FL - would prefer local pick-up, but you can ship it if you want to - you make all the arrangements, and I won't release the car until payment has been received and cleared. I am selling my 2007 Dodge Nitro SLT 2-wheel drive. This is a great little truck for some who wants an SUV with a little sponk. The truck runs and drives great. The interior has 2 toned seats with a large sunroof, it is perfect for someone who is looking for a small SUV with good power. Please ask if you have questions.
