Mechanical Condition: I've driven this SUV over and over again on multiple test drives in the last couple months, and have driven it around town several dozen times, transmission is solid and shifts extremely smooth, engine has plenty of power and runs very smooth and quite. No engine lights, no service lights, just a great SUV. I've driven it in 98+ temps and it does not overheat or run hot - and blows ice cold A/C the whole time. I noticed it leaves a spot in the driveway about the size of a dime or penny if left parked for a few days, had ASE Certified mechanic do a checkout and there does not appear to be an obvious issue or repair that needs to be made. Selling my 2000 Stillen Custom Supercharged Chevy Suburban 4x4 - I love this truck, but recently upgraded to something different so it needs to go to a new owner. These trucks are one-off custom built trucks, built by Stillen in California - they are very limited, and typically run an extra $28K when completed. Mine has had the following upgrades completed:Whipple Supercharger package (around $9K installed). Adds approximately 90 HP to the engine for improved take-off and pulling performance.Full custom Leather interior - black leather w/white piping to match the exterior. Front Captain heated seats have been upgraded to luxury size, much bigger than standard Captain chairs - also have Clarion monitors installed in the headrests for rear entertainment. Second row has reclining bucket seats w/arm rests, third row is a bench seat.Custom console with storage, electric drink cooler/heater cup holders, motorized hidden compartment for storage that has hidden 7" monitor (currently hooked to rear camera). Console also has built-in Whelen siren system which includes standard emergency welp (police siren), EMS horn, Fire Dept horn, several others I've never 'tested'. Amps are hidden behind the plastic trim panels in the rear cargo area. Truck was completely stripped and Dynomat soundproofed when Stillen did the interior - extremely quite inside even at highway speeds. The front bumper has some scratches & rock chips from normal daily driving, rear bumper has a couple dings in it - nothing real noticeable, but needs to be mentioned. Front Captain seats are starting to show some wear from climbing in & out, please see pictures for more details. Paint still has a nice gloss, no oxidized Clear Coat or defects. Rear power windows go up very slow, buyer may want to have the motors changed out in the next few years. Transmission shifts very smooth, no slipping or hard shifting. Engine (5.3L Vortec V8, most popular Chevy truck V8 engine) runs very smooth, never had any problems with this truck. Truck is pretty nice, especially for this age - still has fairly low miles for this year. Truck is starting to show some wear in the leather and carpet, nothing too bad but it does show some wear. Paint is still in really good condition and has good shine to it, no peeling or flaking areas. There is a small area of rust starting to form on the fender behind the rear passenger door on the driver's side (see pics for detail). No known issues, the truck doesn't overheat or burn oil, no leaks or problems, runs smooth and quite. Transmission feels like it should, it shifts firm from 1st to 2nd like all of the trucks. MPG ranges around 15 in the city, and around 20-21 on the highway cruising about 60 MPH. Truck is for sale locally as well, if it sells locally I'll pull this listing ASAP - meaning, if it's still listed here, it's still for sale.
