If you are looking for a very clean and great running SUV, then this in the one for you. The vehicle has been stored in the garage since I have owned it, and always serviced on time. We decided to buy a van, so selling the SUV. The vehicle has pretty much all of the options available for the 2008 Mountaineer. The entire vehicle was recently inspected at a Ford Dealership, and all items came back in great working condition. Some mechanical repairs recently completed at a Ford Dealership include: Full service and inspection (July 2015) New Radiator (July 2015)Full transmission service (Feb 2015)New catalytic converters, both (Dec 2014)New passenger seat heater (Dec 2014) There are a few paint dings/scratches that were painted over with touch-up paint by the dealership when I purchased the vehicle. A few pictures were added to show these but include; a 1-2” scratch below driver’s door handle, very small ding on passenger rear door, a 3-4” scratch on rear drivers side (near taillight), and minor blemishes on black plastic interior door handles. One of the wireless headphones also has the foam ear cushion peeling. NADA Book for the vehicle is $14,325 (Clean Retail) This vehicle is sold “As is” and does not include a warranty from the seller. There is some wear on the steering wheel where the finish has come off, a common GM interior issue caused by hand lotion (see photos) The finish is worn off the flex fuel emblem on the hatch(see photos) The cover is missing on the trailer plug, there are a few small stains in the carpet under the seat and floor mats as you would expect on a 115K miles family vehicle (see photos) There are a couple very small door dings, I could not get them to show up in a photo with the silver paint. The Story: This Suburban was a local trade in, adult owned, garaged, non smoking and no pets. 3/4 ton big block 4x4 suburbans like this are very hard to find and most people hang to them forever as it the only non diesel 7 passenger SUV that will tow just about anything you put behind it with ease. This burb is super tight, runs and drives great, has gobs of power, completely rust free and is ready for some summer fun. I let my wife drive this beast for a couple days and she begged me to keep it, sorry "leadfoot" not gonna happen. I also own an 02 3/4 LT 4X4 burb with a factory 6.0 and lower miles that will become available soon. Options and Drive train:This big burb is equipped with a very 8.1powerful 5.9 (496) Vortec V8 engine, auto trans, 4WD, ice cold front/rear AC, power windows/locks, fog lights, tint, autoride suspension, leather (non smoking) interior, quad seats, DVD, Delphi II XM2go, 3rd row seating, cargo cover, tow package, adjustable pedals, expendable power tow mirrors, brakes are excellent, just installed 4 brand new AT tires on factory alloy wheels and pronaly more that I missed. We gave it a fresh oil change/filter service and it is turn key. Make a reasonable cash offer and you will own this suburban. Though in excellent overall condition, this a used 12 year old 4WD family SUV and as you would expect there are some imperfections. I am being very "nit-picky" on some of this stuff because I value my reputation/feedback and no one likes surprises. There is some damage and scrapes on the drivers side rear fender flare and body just in front of the fender (see photos) There are a few very small scratches and dings as you would expect on a 4X4 SUV of this age but nothing out of the ordinary There is wear damage on the side of the drivers seat bottom, a common GM issue ( see photos) There is staining in the drivers floor carpet under the mat (see photos) I'm hoping my detail guy can get some of this out or cover it with weather-tech liners and forget about it. Bought this with the intention of doing work to it and keeping it as my new toy. Plans have changed and i need to sell it. All tires are brand new(33x12.5) BFGoodrich mud terrain, all brakes are new, new gaskets/seals, new clutch. pioneer stereo with 10" subwoofer 200W amp. From what previous owner knew(not much) it has a 3' suspension lift and 3" body lift. Right rear leaf spring is broken but still driveable. i drove it 400+ miles to Utah from NM with no issues. averages around 14MPG in town and around 20 on the highway. Super fun off-road and will conquer anything you throw at it. can send more pics upon request
